**MIAS POV**
Lately anxiety has been really getting in the way of things. On my first visit, not even an overnight stay, I had a panic attack. Zoe was great, reassuring me, Joe was great, comforting and cuddling me. It made me realise, how much they really do care, and how much they want me to be the best I can be.
Knock knock!
Emma's knocking on my door.
"Come in!" I say. She opens the door and sits by my bed.
"So, I've been meaning to tell you something."
I wonder what it could be. Was it about the adoption? Did something go wrong?
"After the... you know.... panic attack at Zoe's house. And with all the anxiety in general".
"Yeah..." I say.
"Well, I had a meeting with Joe, Caspar, Zoe and Alfie."
I wonder why Zoe and Alfie are there. I wonder what all this is gonna be about.
"And after much thought and consideration, we think that your best option is counseling. We know that it may not work, but could you please just try it. Even for just one session".
I can hear in her voice how much she wants this to work.
"Ok. I will try. When is it?" I say. I really do want to try. At this stage, I will try anything. Anything to get rid of, or just ease my anxiety.
"Thank you. The first appointment is tomorrow."
With that, Emma walks off.
----------
"Come on, Mia!" Emma calls from outside my room. I walk out the door, and down the stairs with Emma. I see everyone; Joe, Caspar, Zoe, and Alfie.
"Are you ready?" Joe says, kneeling at my feet, looking at me with his nice blue eyes.
"Trust me, it really helps", Zoe reassures me.
"Ok. Let's go". I say. I feel ready.
When we pull up outside the therapy center, I still feel fine. We walk in, greet the doctor, and head into a room. It is comforting, the walls are painted lime green, with wavy lines of all the colours of the rainbow across it, and with Joe, Caspar, Alfie and Zoe there.
The doctor asks me questions, some about my past. When she does ask these questions, I feel a bit off, and I think she can tell, but she comforts me until I'm ready for more questions. Her names Mary. She is so lovely.
The appointment went surprisingly well. When it finished, we all get up and head to the reception room, where Joe books more sessions.
When we get in the car, Joe asks me,"So, how was it? Was it okay?"
"Yes, it was fine. I think it might work this time".
That's great. I'm so proud of you, Mia", he says, and plants a small kiss on my forehead. It felt good. It felt like we were really going to be a loving family some day.
---------
I say my goodbyes and head up to my room. Everyone heads out, into the car, and drive off back to Zoe's.

**JOES POV**
It's well past when we should've been home with Mia. We met her in November of last year, and it's now April. But she's doing good. Really good. Therapy has worked well, since when we started we were going once a week, now we only go once a month! We've had many meetings with Emma, and every time I ask when we might get to go home with Mia, and she never knows.
**CASPARS POV**
Today we head back to the orphanage for another meeting with Emma, then we will go to Mia's monthly therapy session. I jump in the car, soon followed by Joe. Zoe and Alfie are busy, so they can't come. We pull out, and head yet again to the orphanage.
We are greeted at the door by Emma, as usual. We head in, and sit in the office.
The meeting is good, just discussing stuff, with adoption, and therapy and stuff, when Joe asks the usual question.
"So, do you have an idea of when we might be able to go home, with Mia?"
I expect the usual answer, but I am surprised.
"Well, we actually have some news about that!" I look at Joe, his eyes full of happiness.
"If things keep going well, you should be going home in two weeks, but we will make sure with Mia first".
We are all so happy. With that, we get Mia, and head to the therapy session.
"So, Mia. We have some exciting news!" the therapist, Mary, says. We had told her about moving in, and told her to tell Mia, since they have a special bond.
"What?" Mia says with excitement and curiosity in her voice.
"Well, you might be moving in with your new family very soon!" Mary exclaims.
"Really?! How long is soon?!" Mia says. Thank god she is happy.
"Like, maybe in 2 weeks soon!" Joe says.
"Oh my God! Finally!" Mia exclaims.
With that, we leave the center, and go back to the orphanage.
When we get there, we start moving stuff to the Zalfie Pad. When we go back to London, Alfie and Zoe will come with there car, with some of Mia's stuff.
"I can't wait to finally move in!" Mia says.
Neither can we!" Joe says.
"Yes, we are both so excited!" I say.
And it's true. We couldn't wait much longer to finally have a family.
Hey guys!
So I finally did another part, hope you like it!
