Agony After Love

I could recall, it's been a while
When everything began with a simple smile
Staring at you, I was stunned
Left astound, to astonished to respond.

I can't speak, I was dumbfounded
Much overwhelmed, I'm a total timid
Never had the courage to say a word
Even a beam, I can't afford.

That smile, how could I ever forget
A single grin I still can't neglect
Your smile, it made me fall
A desire and wish I longed for.

An identical expression that cleaved me
Tearing, splitting, leaving me in anxiety
I really wished I never saw it
Now I'm lonesome, completely in regret.

I bemoan the years I protected,
My feelings i fenced and defended
This long-lived passion I perceived in you
Are now memories I won't hark back to.
