He came up, they became friends
Talked about this and that
Each harmony slowly blends
And that started their story's plot.
One time, he confessed
Saying he liked her best
Having her, he was very blessed
And wishes she'll play his love's quest.
"Well I don't feel the same
Sorry it's never mutual
I ain't prepared for this game
My heart's not ready to fall."
"You know I can wait
Even if forever's a long time.
You alone can make me feel this great
And I don't care if it's a crime."
"Then prove that love of yours
Make me understand your heart
But lend me time to know you more
And familiarize your life's art."
Time passed by slowly
Each day smoothly breaks
She knew him well but not fully
Still let her heart at stake.
"Ask me the question if you want
Now is better than never
We both know it's been months
Come, let's chase forever."
He was speechless in the turn of events
"Know what, my heart's real glad
Moments with you alone'll be spent
You're the best thing I ever had."
