Cold, you were cold as ice
Freezing my fragile heart
Wondering how fast time flies
So swift and complicated as art.
You've changed, yes, you did
And I wasn't prepared
It was sudden, it was rapid
Like you never did cared.
The once smiling face
Turned into an unexplainable one
Tell me, should I leave my place
And forget the memories, all the fun?
Am I the reason why?
Or is it something else?
You need not lie
I'm at fault, my mind tells.
You know my sentiment
That's why you altered
Don't worry, I ain't persistent
Though inside I'm shattered.
I'll leave, back to the old me
You'll be bothered no more
And if you're cold, you'll see
I'll be a lot colder.
