Doctor's POV

"We have to go back to the hospital," I said once we were back on the TARDIS.

Melody looked at me like I was crazy. "Why in the universe do we need to go back to the hospital?"

"We forgot to check to see if there was a little shop."

"Ummm..."

"What?" I demanded. "I love little shops,"

Melody looked away. "I'm just..gonna, um... go,uh, exploring the, uh, TARDIS, um, now..." and she slowly backed out of the room, like she was going to catched craziness off of me.

Is craziness even a word? It sounded like one, but I wasn't sure. I shrugged and went back to flying the TARDIS. I wasn't sure where to go. Maybe a place with little shops?

Melody's POV

I walked through the hallways, thinking about why we would go back to the hospital at all. Certaintly not for a little shop. Maybe it was Dad, being a weirdo, as usual. He does wear convers with suits. I rolled my eyes and pulled open a random door. It opened up to the closet. I walked in. This room had always been my favorite hiding place. I could just curl up with the clothing hanging around me and read books without bother. Sometimes I'd fall asleep in there. I found my favorite place in the room and found my book that I had been reading before. I laid down and began reading. I had been there for two hours before Dad called me for dinner.

"You've gotta stop hiding in the closet," said Dad as I attacked the pasta.

"The pasta needs more anchovies," I said through a mouthful of noodles and sauce.

Dad sighed and threw his hands in the air. "What is it with werecats- or part werecats- and fish?" he asked. "It's like, 'we must have fish, we must have fish', and honestly, I can't eat that stuff anymore, I've eaten it so much. It's actually rather disgusting,"

"Dad, I loved your zombie walk while you were doing the 'we must have fish'. It was beautiful. And anyways, cats like fish. Fact," I said, twirling spagetti with my fork. "Fish is good. You like your bananas, your little shops, I get to like my fish,"

"Bananas are good. And so are little shops and nibbles,"

"Nibbles?! What are nibbles?! And anyways, remember that party we went to? You brought a banana!"

"You don't know what nibbles are? Seriously?" Dad asked.

"What are they? Snacks?" I said.

Dad shrugged and ran his fingers through his hair. "I've got some work to do," he said, leaving the room. I called after him, "OK, just don't hurt the TARDIS,"

"You're not the boss of me," he called back. I rolled my eyes and helped myself to some more pasta. I leaned against the counter. I finished my pasta and wiped off my mouth. Time to get back to that book.
