After Lisa Marie was born, I spent 15 days after her birth in Memphis. Everyone fell in love with the new Presley, and the twins were fascinated to see a newborn baby. Rita loved touching Lisa's little feet, and Priscilla thought it was adorable! After Jack and James' football season was over, they flew to Memphis to meet Lisa Marie. It was Jack's first time at Graceland since the mid-50's, so he was very interested to see what stayed the same, and what changed.

When James and Jack saw Lisa Marie, they thought she was cute. It definitely reminded them of their daughters at that age.

James: "Her nose is so small and cute! She's a beautiful baby. Congratulations, Elvis and Priscilla."

Elvis: "Thanks for coming and visiting. Priscilla and I are lucky to have you and Lillian in our lives, and we're grateful to know people like you who are real and great friends. Ain't no compares to you guys."

Priscilla: "And thanks for letting your lovely wife stay in Memphis for a month to help me while I was pregnant! Such a big help. It's lovely having her around."

James: "No problem. I know Lillian and I love having you guys at our house in Beverly Hills. I'm glad we're still close Elvis. It's one of those friendships that is meant to be a everlasting one."

Elvis: "Ain't that right."

Jack: "Are you hoping that Lisa will follow in her Daddy's footsteps and become a singer?"

Elvis: "Whatever she wants to do is fine with me. She's gonna love Rock n' Roll though."

Elvis pulled me aside as if he was going to tell me a secret.

Elvis: "I'm gonna be filmin' another movie in March."

Me: "Why so soon? Why couldn't that Colonel let you spend time with your family?!"

Elvis: "Shhh... Calm down, Lilly. I thought it would be a great idea to move Priscilla and Lisa in a house on Hillcrest Road. Ain't that close to your house?"

Me: "Yeah, that's right. That's about two minutes away from my house!"

Elvis: "That's great! When I'm shooting, you, the children, Cilla, and LIsa can spend quality time together. I want to see my baby as often as possible. Cilla gets lonely often, and I want you to keep an eye on her."

Me: "Yes sir, I got your orders. I'll watch the Mrs. while you're filming your latest film. Don't worry sir, Cilla and I will have girl time and relax and I'll help take care of Lisa for you."

Elvis began to chuckle. He then tried to pat my head, and I block him. It was a mistake because he began to tickle me. I began to laugh uncontrollably, and Elvis knew where I couldn't handle being tickled. James and Jack hushed us, and Elvis proceeded to cover my mouth with his hand. He then pretended that he was kidnapping me to the kitchen. It was a fun moment for all of us.

On February 25th, Elvis, Priscilla, and Lisa all moved into their 1174 Hillcrest Road Home. Graceland was still their main housing, but this was their second housing whenever Elvis was filming a movie or when they needed to get away from everyone. Elvis and Priscilla liked the fact that it was only two minutes away from my house.

Elvis invited me over the 27th, and most of the furniture purchased was in the house. It was a nice home, and Elvis gave me a tour of the house. While he was giving me a tour, he decided to ask me something. Elvis always asked me personal things while we were together doing something else or when everybody else was distracted.

Elvis: "The Colonel is asking if you wanna be my leading lady in the next film."

Me: "Why Me? Can't he find someone else?"
