Ch. 42: Back to Normal?

*Elvis has dreams of his past flames after he sees Erin at one of his concerts 

*Priscilla, Lisa Marie, Erin and Sir Tom Jones are in this chapter. 

The 1st of February arrived, and that meant Lisa Marie's birthday. I was at the store a month earlier, and  I bought four dresses and pairs of shoes, two dolls, and a bracelet that had a simple message ingraved in it.

They were all nice gifts, but I didn't know what Elvis and Priscilla were planning for their little girl. I tried calling Elvis, but he didn't answer. I assumed that he was busy rehearsing for the concert that day, so I called up Priscilla. 

Me: "Cilla, it's Lilly. I was wondering.. What are you and Elvis planning for LIsa Marie's third birthday?" 

Priscilla: "Tonight, Lisa is going to be attending Elvis' concert. She enjoys watching her father perform on stage, and she gets excited." 

Me: "That's great, I know Lisa will enjoy the show." 

Priscilla: "Lisa has been asking if Aunt Lilly is going to see her soon. Elvis and I thought it would be a great idea if you would join us to celebrate her birthday in Vegas." 

Me: "Sure, I would love to join you guys. In fact, I'm actually in Vegas for a photoshoot, so it will work out!" 

Priscilla: "Are any of the children with you in Vegas?" 

Me: "The twins are with me right now." 

Priscilla: "Bring them to the concert! Lisa will love that you and them are there." 

As the conversation ended, I informed the twins that they were going to see their first Elvis concert. They were very excited! My oldest three told them about their experiences at an Elvis concert, and they wanted to go to one the next day! It was great, and they were finally going to see him in action. 

The children and I headed to the concert with all the wrapped presents in the car. The twins were wearing outfits that Elvis and Priscilla gave them for Christmas. I wore the TLC necklace Elvis gave me with a black lace dress with black heels. I still wore the ring he gave me in 1958, and it looked great with the whole outfit. 

When we arrived at the Internation Hotel, Charlie Hodge led us to our seats. We would be sitting with Priscilla, Lisa, and apparently Tom Jones. I never met him, but I heard some of his music and great things of him. 

Priscilla and Lisa shortly arrived, and the children and I greeted them with a bunch of presents. Priscilla was surprised with the amount of gifts we got Lisa this year. 

Lisa: "Presents! Look, mama. Auntie Lilly, Sean, and Sam got me presents." 

Priscila: "I see.. What do you say Lisa?" 

Lisa: "Thank You Auntie Lilly, Sean, and Sam." 

Me: "Your welcome, Lisa. I'm glad you enjoy your gifts." 

Priscilla: "Wow Lilly, you know you could of bought her a teddy bear, and she would of loved it! Thank you for the gifts... Did you know that Tom Jones will be sitting with us? Will you be okay with that?"

Me: "Yes, Charlie informed me when he was walking the children and I to our seats. I'm totally fine with it. Tom Jones seems like a nice guy, and I'm curious to meet him."
