Chapter 34

Jared's POV

Typical Robbie. I bet they would get married. They're basically meant for each other. They know exactly what to say, they understand each other.

I don't really think much when it comes to relationships. I just do. But Melissa is different. She makes me nervous inside. She's definitely special.

But I don't wanna lose her as a friend. If we ever broke up, I'd be devastated.

So I wasn't going to let that happen.

June was having weird cramps. She didn't feel good. We all knew why, just didn't wanna say it.

Robbie went to the store and got chocolate and movies.

He comforted her the entire time. Me and Melissa just watched, it was like a science experiment, on adults?

He was good at it. He would stroke her arm, whisper in her ear. She loved it.

He was so into her he didn't notice he paused the movie pitch perfect.

"Aye lover boy hand me the remote!" Melissa says slyly.

They looked alike, with the green eyes that made you melt. She was truly beautiful.

June and Robbie blushed.

I couldn't help but smile. They were perfect together. Do me and Melissa have that?

I was lost in thought, my phone rang and I didn't notice. I was to busy thinking about Melissa. We both blushed when Robbie laughed "lover boy pick up the phone" I snap out of my trance and pick up the phone.

A deep disgruntled voice speaks "if you don't want June and Melissa to get hurt then you will do as I say. Watch" my stomach tenses. June and Melissa fall over in pain.

I watch in horror, Robbie rushed to them both reassuring them.

I knew exactly who was doing this.

It was their dad's friend.

And he can kill them.

I decide to tell Robbie.

I hang up and whisper in his ear. His eyes go wide.

"If we go to the hospital they can find whatever's doing that and remove it, but if were not fast enough he could kill them." Robbie says.

He tells them about the phone call.

June grits her teeth and stares at her feet.

Melissa's eyes go wide . I hated seeing her in pain. I scoot next to her and put my arm around her like Robbie did. She smiles a little.

We all devise a plan. I would be with Melissa who pretended to fall and I would call the ambulance. We then explain to them what really happened.

And then they get the chip out, or whatever's in there, we can be safe if we hurry.

No way was I losing Melissa. And Robbie needed June, and so did Melissa. She was like a big sister to me.

No way am I letting them go to some abusive man.

We go out into the hall. Melissa "screams"

And I quickly yell for help. I call 9-11 and explain that my girlfriend just collapsed.

Within 4 minutes I hear the wail of the sirens coming closer with every passing second.

They take her on a stretcher and check her pulse. I ask them to do a scan. They find the chip implanted in her leg, I tell them about June. They go back to the hotel and take her with robbie following them.

We then explain the threats and her dad being in jail.

"We're glad you told us kid." They said

"This is a neurotic chip, it has the ability to hear everything's surroundings. It also has the ability to send a shock to ones body. If we don't remove it now they may die." The doctors whisper.

"This may hurt.." They say jabbing a syringe into their leg.

I hear Melissa scream. I turn away. I can't witness her in pain it tears my heard.

I can't believe people could do this to somebody especially somebody as sweet as them I know June self harmed. I can see it in her eyes.

Society does this to people.

And we as people need to fix it.

In half an hour it was done, the chip was removed from both their legs and they got the address from tracking and were currently arresting her dad's friend to.

They were still asleep though. Robbie was sitting with June holding her hand.

I did the same with Melissa.

They both looked like sleeping angels.

Robbie's POV

My heart almost tore when I heard her scream.

This was terrible. I needed to be there for her. I wouldn't ever let her go. I wanted to spend my life with her by my side.

I couldn't loose her.

If I ever did I would personally go murder anybody who tried to hurt her.

She made me happy. She could cheer me up. She was real when the world was fake.

She was my everything.
