Jay's POV

The DEO hooked me up with flash's contact so we could go running today. He said he would meet me at the old factory. I ran to the factory and got there in milliseconds. He was a few seconds behind me and I was just playing on my phone when I got there.

"Hey 'Flash'."

"Uh...hey..."

I looked up from my phone to see he was looking at me with an 'are you serious?' look. I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"And if you're wondering, i'm Jay."

"Wait...YOU'RE Jay?"

"Yes. I don't know why you're so surprised."

"Nothing...um...nevermind."

"You ready?"

"For what?"

" to run! that's the reason you're here right?"

"o-oh yeah."

We lined up and as soon as I said "go", we were off. I quickly passed him and got enough speed to go around the earth. When he got back to the finish line, I was nowhere to be seen. He smiled and shouted "YES!" In victory. 

"I wouldn't be celebrating just yet flash..."

He looked around for me and I was standing behind him. I tapped his shoulder and he turned around.

"You're late." he said.

"Nope. You are."

"How am I late?"

"I got enough momentum to fling me around the earth and into orbit."

"WHAT?!"

"Yeah...running on water gets your socks wet so I decided to just plant my feet and fling myself into orbit."

"H-how...?"

"Did I mention that I can run at the speed of light?"

"No. No, you didn't."

"oops."

I gave him my best 'sorry' face and asked him what his favorite country is. He said he loves italy. So, being the nice friend I am, I ran to italy and got him a mushroom tortellini to-go. I ran back and gave it to him.

"Oh my gosh....THANK YOU! This is my favorite!"

"I had a feeling..."

I looked at the factory because I heard a pin drop. Literally.

"Jay, what is it?"

I listened again and heard claws scraping across the floor. 

"Jay..."

"Flash....get ready to run."

I listened until I could hear a faint beeping.

"Run! I have to get the bomb!"

"What?! There's a bomb?"

"Yes!" I tapped my ear. "Super hearing! Now run!"

I dashed inside to the bomb. Agggh! I can't remember any of the bomb disposal class! Crap! I grabbed it and ran outside to where flash was still standing. 

"What are you waiting for? RUN!"

He ran back to national city probably to get Supergirl. I ran faster than I ever have before. I ran towards the ocean and then I stupidly realized that I couldn't swim. I ran across the ocean in a matter of seconds. I built up enough momentum and planted my feet so it would fling me into space.
