Chapter One

I finally made it! I am one of the living freshman still left in Roosevelt High in Wisconsin. God why does Wisconsin have to be so cold? I mean its almost like some of the hormonal girls who eat there feelings at my school. One second its bright and sunny the next is just cold heartless furry of emotions. Its already February and i'm going strong straight A's baby!

The bell rings and I rush out into the hall way with masses of bodies all trying to get to their next class on time. I look over my shoulder and I see a puffy pink vest with perfect golden blond curls hazel eyes and super skinny pants walk my way more like strut. Luna Black my snooty haft sister who runs this school. "And her highness awaits" someone said besides me in a snooty tone. "Ken shut up or she will behead you" I say playfully and put my finger to my thought and slide it across. "K you are so melodramatic sometimes, You know my life is already a living hell. Yesterday my parents were on me again for my B+ grade average" I chuckled "We all cant be as gifted as you Mrs. A point average" he finished. "Well Ken we all cant live in a dream house you know" Kens dad is a famous rich engineer who build an amazing smart house that is priceless he is also my Best friend.

The bell rang indicating that next period was about to start. "Catch you later Ken!" I shouted as I race down the hall. Man why do my classes have to be so far away.

It was just another normal day for me. About the only interesting thing that happens to me is Kens remarks. I mean I wouldn't mind some drama or action... maybe I could be a ninja? I ponder as I walk home. As I was thinking about this a pink ferrari glided across my frontal plane of vision and made its way next to me. "Hey Kiss up Kadence hows life?... oh no reply whatever Loser" Lunas friend Kira spouted. "Kira shut up!" Luna said and glared at me with those heartless hazel eyes "She would not know the difference between chanel and gucci" there was a pause. I smirked Luna, stated "commoners need to know their place" the wheels screeched and lucky for me *sarcasm* there was a puddle under the car. Splash. I was stuck on the sidewalk dripping wet in my cute new silver boots skiny jeans and a old t shirt. My dripping wet chestnut hair that was in a messy bun was destroyed. My deep brown eyes were only a bit smudged because of mascara, I don't wear a lot of makeup. When I do its to bring out my natural self.

After Luna drove away I pounded my foot to the ground in frustration like a five year old. I yelled to no one in particular "Darn it LUNA" and huff down the road I was shivering it was colder than it was this morning. I thought to myself: Why does she have to be such a brat? I mean what did I ever do to her? gahhhh my head is about to explode already! Everyday I have to walk home the reason is my rich father Jett Black forgets he has another daughter so I get nothing but, my own little house on the side of HIS mansion. I mean he gave me a lot of things at first like nice phone, laptop, own Wi-fi spot, etc. OK i sound like a brat now but this was only when he forgot about my last 5 birthdays and to make up for it he got me those things *sigh*

I wasn't paying attention but kept on walking. A couple of minutes later I slammed into a brick wall that's what I thought. I looked up suddenly and saw a pair of black eyes looking at me "Gage I-I-I-" stumbled with my words. Gage picked up my chin his big hands were soft and warm but, I tensed up, he looked into my eye and smirked than said "Get out of here Kadence or else"As i started into his eyes it was like I was looking into a black hole of darkness. Gage was known for being the imitating tough guy who only looked out for his pack. "I-I-I" stumbled.

Maybe I can lock Ken in school and take over his house *sly grin* the Author shouts "Oh Ken!!!"
