Chapter 4: Getting ready

(this will probably be short as its just a small lead up to the 'dinner')

It was finally Friday night and i was incredibly nervous. But i knew Mark would never do or say anything to hurt me since he had supported me. I looked at my phone turned it on and checked the time, it was 6:30 pm, so i had thirty minutes to finish my makeup and then i guess i would be off! It was about 6:57 pm, as i looked at my phone and saw a text from Mark that said "Im here, make sure you have everything." "okay" I checked my bag, clothes, toothbrush, phone and laptop charger, laptop, earbuds, gum, socks and a couple of extra pairs of bra's and underwear. Okay, i think i had everything. I grabbed my bag kissed my mom and dad on the cheek as i left i heard "have fun, happy birthday baby girl" my dad said as i walked out the door blowing a kiss to both of them.
