road trip

My eyes slowly open and I rub the sleep out of my eyes I look around and saw that I was on the couch, this is my last time sleeping on this couch, my bed comes today and I can set up my room later, I'm so excited.

I walked over to the bathroom and got into the shower, the hot water surrounding my body.

I got dressed and that's when I got the call that my bed is here

"Colby!" I yell, he and came running to me

"Is everything okay?!"  he said running up behind me and placing his hands on my waist while looking over my shoulder and looking for anything dangerous.

"Yeah I just need your help setting up my bed" I say giggling

"oh" he said taking his hands off my waist, his cheeks turned a light red.

We finally set up the bed and I began making my bed, I stretched the white fitted sheet across the mattress, then I threw my white duvet over the top, then I tossed a few white pillows near the head board. I hear the door open and I turn around and see Colby standing in the doorway, he smiled at me then ran towards me and tackled me on to the bed, be both laughed like idiots.
The laughs died down as we made eye contact, everything went silent, our faces inches apart once again, I feel an invisible force pushed my lips to his, this is it, I begin to close my eyes, so does Colby. I feel my cheeks heat up, then all of a sudden....
"Colby?!"
We break apart and look at the door, no one is there, but soon Sam appears in the doorway,
"Oh good you're both here" sam said "Colby, did you tell her yet?" Sam asked
"No, I was going to right after we talked but then....something came up" Colby said looking over at me.

What are they talking about, tell me what??

"So, Hazel" colby said looking at me, "would you want to go on a ten day road trip with me, Sam, Corey, and Elton?" Colby asked

"Of course" I say hugging Colby, that was a little unnecessary... oops.
"Awesome! pack really warm stuff, we are going to Utah, and I think we are going snowboarding and stuff like that" colby said then got up and left the room smiling at me.

A/n: Sam, Colby, Corey, and Elton actually did go on a ten day road trip to Utah, if you haven't seen the videos they are on Elton's channel, 'TFIL' go watch them bc the next few chapters are going to based off some of the videos they made. Ps. The packing peanuts chapter is also based off one of Elton's videos 😊

I am so excited, I've always wanted to go on a road trip, this is going to be fun.

I dump out the suit case be been living out of recently and began packing it with clothes for Utah, wait they never told we when we are leaving.
I get up from my seat on the floor and find Sam and Colby on the couch editing videos,
"Hey guys" I say and the both turn around
"So you kinda never told me exactly when we are leaving" I giggle

"Oh, yeah sorry" Colby laughed checking his phone
"Um so today is Wednesday, we leave on...... Friday" he said locking his phone and placing it on his lap.
"Okay, thanks" I say and make my way back to my room.

I spent the next few hours packing, then I decided to crawl into my new, comfy bed.

I pull my laptop on my lap and watch a few YouTube videos and I decided that I wanted to watch a movie on Netflix to fall asleep to, I scroll and finally decide to watch '6 years' a few minutes go by and I feel my eyelids begin getting heavier and soon I drift off into a deep sleep.

I woke up to the bright light shining through the curtains, I roll over and close my laptop and place it on the floor next to my bed. I check my phone and look at my instagram and snapchat. Soon there is a knock at my bedroom door,

"come in" I say, still half asleep

Colby slowly enters my room I see him smile with the little light being let through the curtains, he walks over and sits at the foot of my bed as I slowly sit up.

"so are you ready to wake up early tomorrow and drive 8 hours to Utah?" Colby asked

"Ready as I'll ever be" I say slightly giggling and rubbing my eyes once again.

"Okay, make sure you are acked before you go to bed tonight, you don't want to be rushed tomorrow morning" He said

"Okay, I will if I ever decide to leave this bed" I said while snuggling under my blankets. Colby chuckled and looked at me, and I looked back at him, the blanket pulled all the way up to my neck. The room is filled with silence, but it was a comfortable silence. Colby fell backwards onto the bed, he is now laying across the end of the bed,
"Damn, this bed is so comfy, you're right" he said breaking the silence and laughing

"Yeah" I spoke "oh wait, I fell asleep watching a movie last night, I want to finish it"

I reached over the side of my bed and picked up my MacBook, I opened it and went back to Netflix and clicked on the movie,
"What movie is it?" Colby asked, getting up and standing next to my bed,
"6 years" I spoke
"Sounds interesting" colby said looking and me. I look back at him
"Want to watch?" I ask
"Sure" he said
I shuffled over to the side of my bed and Colby slipped under the covers with me and we began watching the movie.
We laid there in a comfortable silence once again, with only the sounds of the movie filling the empty room.
