New Beginnings

Back to Yale & Christmas time

Rory's POV

The next day goes by smoothly Mitchum and honor both come back and see Logan and then take their leave back to Connecticut that afternoon. The rest of our time at the hospital goes well and by 10 am the next morning we are leaving the hospital and heading straight to the airport to the jet. We make it on the plane and I get Logan comfortable in his seat and grab myself a drink and sit down. I spend half the flight sleeping and the other half watching some movies.

We land at a small airfield not far from new haven and a car service is ready to pick us up and takes us back to mine and Steph's place. I help Logan to our apartment and bring his stuff in with us and I set him up in my bed as it is like 8 pm I decided to order some Thai food for dinner and Logan and I eat up our food while watching Casablanca in sweats.

I wake up at 7am and go straight to the kitchen and put on a pot of coffee. Once it brews I pour myself a cup and grab myself some pop tarts and sit down and enjoy it. Once I finish I head back to my room and see Logan still asleep and I decide it's time for a shower. 20 minutes later I get out of the shower and do my hair and make up and walk back into the room and pull on some jeans and a sweater. Once dressed I hear Logan stir.

"Morning Ace" he says

"Morning Logan, how you feeling?" I ask him as I sit down on the bed next to him.

"I'm doing alright a bit sore but glad to be home" he replies as he starts to get out of bed.

"Where are you going?" I ask him

"Bathroom then breakfast" he tells me and I let him go.

"I'm heading to campus need to see all our professors and get all our coursework notes and find out what kind of extensions we can get" I tell him as I grab my book bag and leave the apartment.

I spend the next 7 hours on campus speaking with 8 different professors and then hit the library to get the books I need to work on my papers.

I get home at 4 and find Logan, the boys and Steph all sitting in the lounge watching MTV.

"Evening boys, hey chica"I say walking in and putting all my books down at my desk in the corner.

"Evening Rory" comes from everyone as I take a seat next to Logan and give him a kiss.

"How did it go today Ace?" Logan asks me.

"Extensions organised and all the notes we need, if there are any books you need let me know and I will grab them while on campus as you are not allowed back till next week" I say to him and the boys just laugh.

"So what do we want to eat?" Seth asks

"How about pizza?" I say

"Sounds great" Finn says and I call up the shop and order a half a dozen pizzas.

The rest of the night we eat and enjoy the company and the fact that life was getting back to normal.

3 months later. Christmas Eve.

Christmas this year was spent with my family as Logan's were all over the globe, his father was working at some new paper they had acquired and his mom, decided to check into a spa and honor was with her new boyfriend Josh.

We arrive home in Logan's newest Porsche given to him by his parents as an early Christmas present. We enter the house " Mom, Dad we are home" I call out as we walk in. "In the study" mom calls out and we leave our bags at the door for the maid to take to my room and walk towards the study.

"Hey mom, dad" I say

"Hey sweets, how did midterms go?" Mom asks

"Not bad, they were tough but I think I did alright, how bout you babe how did yours go?" I ask Logan after I respond.
