I tried to make her laugh
And yet,
The sadness stays
on her pretty little face
One teary eye shows
A thousand regrets and woes
But ever so slightly
The corner of her lips quirk up lightly
And now I start to hope and pray
that one day,
I'll be part reason that her world's no longer gray.
