Pain.Part 1

I smile grew in my face as the hot Miami sun shun through my small bedroom window.

The previous night was great! Even though me and Cody have been together for almost a month, I had grown strong feelings. He was different than anyone I've ever dated, or even liked. I don't know how or why, he just is.

I grabbed my phone from the night able and seen I got a text from him saying "Good Morning.". I texted him back and went to the shower. After showering I brushed my teeth, blow dried my hair and slipped on some sweats and a tank top.

I ran downstairs to see that everyone one was gone. A bright yellow sticky note was stuck on the fridge.

I picked it off the fridge:

Hey honey,
Your father and I had o fly out to New York with Kylie and Kendall for a photoshoot. We'll be back by Sunday! Kim won't be coming back anytime soon, Kourtney and Scott have some "family things" and Khloé is in Atlanta. You've got the whole place to yourself! ( Don't have a party)

A smile came upon my face, until it disappeared when I discovered I had nothing at all to do.

I looked at my phone as messages from Cassandra, Cassie, Cody and Sean filled my screen.

Cassandra; We need to hang out ASAP.
Cassie is mad at me:(

Cassie: Cassandra is a bitch.
Txt me back Kay Kay😂 I'm so funny.

Cody: Hey babe.
Wanna hang today?

Sean: Heeey:)
Hi beautiful
Hey Kayla
Hello stunning
Hey
Hi:)

I texted Cassandra as she texted me first.

Me: Yaaas, and what's with you and Cassie?

I then texted Cassie who had texted just a minute after Cassandra.

Me; lol, k what happened?

Then Cody.

Me; Aye, yes I'm honestly a loner right now.

Then Sean. But wait the weird thing is I've never given him my number, and we've never spoke since the last time I saw him which was around 2 months ago.

I hopped back and forth texting the 4. I went from talking about who should wear the shoes first with the twins, random things with Cody and just really weird nonsense with Sean.

At the exact same time the 4 of them texted me;

There's a ball at 8:00pm, it's called The Night Beauty or whatever. You should come!
But of course they added they're little personal notes.

I began getting ready for the ball. I applied my makeup with nude colours on the eyes but than a mahogany tinted lipstick on my lips. I straighten my hair and clipped the front.

Once I came out of hiding my closet of Kylie's old clothing and club shirts was replaced with a lavish wardrobe.

The dress l had picked out fit perfectly. The top was tight and showed enough cleavage, the dress fit on my waist than went into a ball gown.

The dress was a big ball gown, it was dark blue with sparkles lightly sprinkled all over the dress. It was sweet heart neckline with little sleeves that hung at my lower shoulders. The tag had "Sheri Hill" written on it.

Most of the paparazzi were still there. Cody had some trouble getting to the door, but he made it.
I ran and got my phone as I met Cody at the door.

"You look lavishing Kayla" he kissed me and twirled me around.

"Not bad your self Simpson." I leaned in for another kiss but was interrupted by a loud car horn.

"I had to give Sean a ride, sorry."

"It's fine" I said

The car ride was alright except Sean kept interrupting Cody and I's conversations with random accusations, I could tell Cody was getting annoyed also.

We reached the ball finally, it was decorated so well, it looked exactly like a castle. Usually we don't get much stars in the city but today the sky lit up.

"KAYLA"

"Cassie! Cassandra!"

I hugged my bestfriends as Cody and Sean just gave each other awkward stares.

The night was fun when the Paparazzi wasn't bothering us and until Acacia showed up, trying to dance with Cody and talk to him while I was.

A slow song came on when Cody and Sean gave their hand out to me.

"She's my girlfriend. I dance with her."
Cody said confidently

"We'll what if she doesn't wanna"

"Cody just dance with me, and Sean can dance with her" Acacia said with hope in her eyes.

"Guys. Stop. Cody IS my boyfriend and I do wanna dance with him."

Sean's face turned into a bright red as his fist bulged at Cody's face, thankfully he missed.

The boys tackled each other as I tried to get them off each other but they were too strong for me.

"Kayla, this wouldn't of happened if you weren't here" she glared at me

"Shut up Acacia, I'm trying to break them up while your being a little brat"

"Ugh. Kayla shut up."

Her fist was about to hit my nose when my knuckles, wrist and hand had an aching pain.

I looked up at Acacia as blood bled from her nose.

;I punched Acacia Brinley.
