so after an hour and a half we all were almost tipsy . raven was fully drunk and liam was trying to Handle her . Jayson asked me to dance with him .I joined him on the dance floor . we danced to many songs . his hand on my waist mine on his shoulder . he pulled me more close and rested my head on his chest for a slow song .

my phone started ringing so I picked it up the hear my very excited beat friend

" hi ells are you free I want to talk to you "

I excused myself and walked out in the cold weather .

" hi clary . I am so happy to hear from you . you sound very excited what is the matter ?"

before she could answer my phone's battery died .

stupid phone always has bad timing

I really wanted to talk to her . then I saw a payphone right besides the club . which was quite odd . it was better to talk to her from there instead of going back in and taking someones phone . I dragged my tired feet and walked inside it and called her .

" hey clary I am calling from a payphone my phone's battery died . now tell me why are you so excited "
