"C'mon, Blakey. Wake up, baby,"
Blake opened his eyes groggily, but the light reflecting off the perfectly white walls caused him to involuntarily close them. Blake groaned and opened his eyes once more, the light assulting them again.
"Hey baby. How are you feeling today?"
Blake moaned at the question. The same question everyday. He was sick of it. He rolled around again, his head sinking further into the pillow, not that it was at all comfortable. The pounding in his head growing more and more irritating with each minute passing.
"Blakey, c'mon," the blonde shook the boys shoulders, irritating the boy more and more. "Baby, please. Your dad is coming round in half an hour," George winced as the brunette shot up in his hospital bed. He became light headed, instantly regretting sitting up too quickly. "Oh baby. I'm sorry. Lie down again,"
"H-how did he find out?" Whimpered Blake, his thoughts racing back to when he was younger.
"Baby, you are in a band that's growing by the day, of course he's going to find out you have cancer," he said in an annoyed tone.
"I th-think I'm going to th-throw up," whispered the brown eyed boy as George chucked a bowl at him. Watching his boyfriend in hospital and suffering everyday killed him inside. The sick boy he had become was overwhelming. The blue eyed boy tried so hard to help him, he couldn't even imagine what it must be like to go through cancer.
"Blakey, you feeling okay?" George asked as he rubbed Blake's back up and down.
"Y-yeah," he said as he wiped the sides of his mouth, his body already used to the sensation of being sick.
"Go back to sleep if you want, baby. I'll wake you up later, okay?" Smiled George as Blake rested his head down on the pillow once more.

Roughly 35 minutes later the door burst open. In came Dr. Evelyn Gillespie and Nick, Blake's father. Nick instantly became overwhelmed with sadness as he watched his son sleep on his possible death bed. Tears slipped form his eyes involuntarily; the blonde opposite trying to help the eldest male compose himself.
"Hi sir. Erm, Blake just fell asleep about 35 minutes ago, he seemed very tired. If you want we could talk for a while and then after I'll wake him up and-"
The next thing that happened took George by surprise; Nick pulled him into a hug, "thank you so much. Because of you, and Reece, I know he's trying. He's really trying," he sobbed some more, "and I accept you both. I love how much you make my boy so happy, I love how you take care of him even in this time of despair, you still love him no matter what. And I know I was a shit father but thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there for him." They hugged for a bit longer while George was finding the words to respond.
"I love him, of course I'll always be there for him,"
For the next half hour they talked about Blake's childhood, how he was doing and basically small talk while Evelyn checked everything was okay with Blake.
The body of the brunette slowly started to stir awake, his surroundings becoming clear to him.
George noticed Blake was awakening and slipped his hand into the brunette's. Blake's grip tightened as he spotted his father standing at the end of his bed.
"Hi son,"
Blake's hand started to tremble within the grasp of George's; body shaking with fear.
"I-I came round to see how my-"
"W-why do y-you care, N-nick?" The 17 year old's voice was rough and shakey as if he had time travelled back to when he was a child. He was incapable of calling the monster that stood in front of him his father; he had screwed up his chances many times before.
The eldest male was hurt by his words though Blake didn't understand why, he was being totally reasonable with his words.
"I came to see how my son was doing. Are you okay?"
The brunette rolled his eyes. "Again with that stupid question," he groaned, more agitated now that his dad asked it. "I'm fine by the way,"
The tension in the room was capable of being cut with a butter knife. It was uncomfortable enough to be in the room considering it was a hospital room, but now that Nick was here it was worse. They sat in an uncomfortable silent environment that is, until someone spoke up.
"Why did you do it? Why did you hurt me?" Queried the youngest male, nervousness slipping effortlessly into his words.
"I-I, um, I didn't want to hurt myself," were the safest words Nick could think off.
"Oh so what? You thought you could hurt me and it would all be fine? Why did you come here? Did you think you could just win me over? Huh? Did you? I have cancer, dad, fucking cancer. And you expected me to let you back into my life!" George's knuckles started turning white due to how strong Blake was holding his hand.
"I I'm so sorry s-"
"Save it, people like me need this oxygen," said the agitated brunette, "just leave already,"
"I see how it is," Nick dragged his feet along to the door, his hand stopping as it reached the handle. He turned round to face his son, his son that was facing away in disgust. That's when it hit him, he was no longer welcome.
He left and with him the tension did also.
"I'm so sorry baby, I should have told him to leave earlier. I-"
"It's okay Georgey. I know you're trying to help," Smiled the teary eyed brunette.
"Go back to sleep baby, I know that was too much for you to handle," and so Blake drifted off into a land where nothing but his dreams could harm him.
George then gently planted a kiss upon his forehead, letting a few stray tears loose. He rubbed the area where he had previously rested his lips, letting a few tears loose again.
《~》
Idk how I feel about this one. For those of who know someone close to them that have cancer, I'm so sorry. So deeply and truly sorry.
