Corey when you tell him that you won't leave him when he tells you to leave in order to protect you.

"Y/n, you need to leave." He places his hands on your arms and looks into your eyes intently.
"No, Corey. I'm not leaving, I won't." You say firmly.
"I want to protect you, y/n, I want to know that you're safe." Corey says quietly.
"I'm not running away, Cor."
"I don't want you to get hurt." He says sadly.
"I won't... I have you to protect me." You smile at him reassuringly.
"But what if I can't?" His voice nearly breaks.
"You can," You tell him, "I believe in you."
"You're something special, y/n, I'll give you that." He flashes his lopsided smile at you.
"I'll take that as a compliment." You smile softly as he presses his lips against your forehead.
