As I'm sitting here with a polygon,
I'm thinking about how to escape from this place
But it seems like we'll never get out
What if we die?
We might not survive
(After all, we only have our cyberspace)
Maybe, it's for the best
I'll take that chance
As I collided
Saw the world beneath me
You'll see me now
By your side
(After all, we have our cyberspace)
That was the last time you saw me
I couldn't believe what just happened
I ended up losing
Saw the world turning black
You'll see me now
Looking at you
Feeling lost and lonely
Where do I go
Up upon an exit or explosion
To keep me from doing what I do
(After all, we have our cyberspace)
"What kind of song is that?" I asked, trying not to laugh.
"If I was in a computer world with nobody but myself." Glory said, turning her phone off.
"I don't think that's possible." I told her.
"It's part of my imagination! What part of it you don't get!" She crossed her arms.
"Everything." I said, nervously.
"Okay then." She wasn't sure what to say.
"WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR, YO'URE GOING TO FIND YOURSELF DYING FROM THE 2016 ELECTION RESULTS!" Glory shouted, singing off key.
I rolled my eyes and started laughing. A few people stared at us but I didn't mind. I rolled our windows down after that.
"O HOLY NIGHT, WHY MUST I SING THIS SONG WITH YOU. YOU WERE THERE, LOOKING AT ME, THINKING, 'SHE MUST BE INSANE OR SOMETHING." She continued.
"Can you please stop singing so badly?" I asked, hoping it'll end.
"What's up, my man!" She held her hand for a high five.
I stopped the car for a few seconds, got her phone and turned it off, giving it back.
"Was my singing beautiful?" She asked, not realizing that she wasn't listening to music.
"It was...something." I said, not wanting to say the truth.
"Then, who was asking me to stop?" She asked.
"I think it was the wind." I lied.
"Well, he needs to get his ass out of here." She smirked.
"I was the one who told you to stop. I couldn't say anything because I was laughing so much that I forgot to tell you. Are you happy now?" I sighed, trying not to yell.
"Yup. And thanks for being honest about it." She held my hand.
"Fucking shit!" Glory screamed, as she was on her rose gold MacBook.
