"Are you still awake? No sleeping until 5 am!" Glory asked, playing loud rock and roll music.
"I'm tired!" I shouted.
"You can take a nap at 1:05, right now it's 12:30." She checked the time.
"How many songs do we have to sing?" I whined.
"2 more and that's it." She reminded me.
"Fuck." I complained.
"You'll be alive at the end of this, just sing this one and you can take an early nap." She kissed me.
"Thanks." I yawned quietly.
Took a big trip
With your old band
To your homeland
For the wrong manMaking big plans
For your own sake
Hope they don't bend
Hope they don't breakTook a tip from a rodeo show
Get a grip or you're gonna get thrown
Take your aim when you take a shot
For the man under you will take everything you gotTake the pills that they give you mornings
Spit them out when they aren't looking
Keep a smile but you burn it hot
It's a mad, mad, worldTake the pills that they give you mornings
Spit them out when they aren't looking
Fix a smile but you burn it hot
It's a mad, mad, world"Just as amazing as you." She smiled, hugging me.
"Thanks. What's the last song?" I asked.
"Pretty things and I was thinking if you want to do a duet with me." She answered.
"Why not!" I grabbed her hand.
I want to buy you pretty things
Horses and castles and diamond rings
And we'll go dancing in the spring
If you likeAnd we'll be alright
Never have to beg or have to fight
For what we know is true
That's what we'll never do
Never
EverAnd if we breathe for one another, they will never suffocate us
And if we stay close to each other, they will never separate us
And if we support one another, they will never get beneath us
And if we try
And if we try
They will never ever stop us"I'm already starting feel tired." I said, rubbing my eyes.
"Same. Let's sleep down here together. No cuddling and sex." She answered.
"Night." I yawned.
"Don't let confess a bear haunt you." She giggled but I already fell asleep.
"Jesus Christ! Who plays music this loud in the morning!" I woke up.
"Good afternoon to you too." Glory smiled.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"12:59 pm. You missed an important meeting." She told me.
"Damn it! I completely forgot about it!" I got up quickly.
"Sorry." She apologized.
"I should've known this was going to happen." I sighed, hating myself right now.
"We could go to Chipotle if you want." She offered.
"Not after the last time." I rolled my eyes.
Few days after everyone found about me and Glory's relationship, we went to Chipotle. We had a terrible time since I was mostly moody throughout the whole date.
