Chapter 11;
Jade's POV;
She didn't answer. Voice mail. I called again. All these bad thoughts were running through my head.
Oh my god. What am I doing? I just had the thought to...
Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted by another voice.
"Hello?" A little boy said.
"Uhm...hi. Is Myrtle home? I need to talk to her...oh, and who am I speaking to right now?" I said.
"Uh...Myrtle isn't home at the moment. She's with Damon. And my name is Charlie." Charlie said.
"Ok...and who is Damon?" I asked.
"Oh. Damon is her fiancé. And who am I speaking to right now?" Charlie asked.
Fiancé? She has a fiancé and I didn't even know!
My thoughts were interrupted again.
"Miss?" Charlie said.
"Oh. I'm sorry. And you're speaking to Jade...Myrtle's sister." I said.
"Tell her to stop by tomorrow afternoon. I have to tell her something. Something very...important?" I said.
"Ok." Charlie said.
And with that, we both hung up.
What have I gotten myself into?
-The Next Morning-
Charlie's POV;
Last night, I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about Jade and the message I left for Myrtle.
I don't know if Myrtle has seen the message I wrote on the piece of paper...
Suddenly Myrtle came downstairs. "Hey...Charlie. Do you wanna go to my sister's house?" She said.
"Uhm...sure. Does she have any children I could play with?" I asked.
"I don't know. Go get ready, we're leaving at noon." Myrtle said.
"But it's 11:00." I said.
"Just get ready. Please?" She said.
I walked up the stairs, I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and fix my hair. And then I realized...Myrtle's changed. Ever since Austin and Ally ran away...she's been nice to us...
We left the house at around 11:50. When we got to Jade's house, a young girl opened the door and welcomed us in. And that's when I saw...them.
