Echo's POV

Upon entering Emily's house all eyes went to Embry and I, several of the guys sent wolf whistles our way, and while Embry looked slightly embarrassed I simply rolled my eyes. A beautiful russet colored woman with dark hair and a happy face shushed the boys and smiled at me, it was only then that I noticed the large scars running down her face, bringing half of her mouth permanently down. But of course I didn't miss a beat and immediately smiled at her.

"Hi I'm Echo it's nice to meet you." I beamed. Everyone seemed happy with my response, and that I didn't dwell for a second on her scars.

"Echo, it's nice to meet you, I'm Emily, want a muffin?" She asked holding out a muffin, to which I quickly took, offering her another smile and a thanks before chowing down on the gigantic muffin. Easy conversation was made between the pack and I, it seemed like they quite enjoyed my sarcasm and were very excepting of me. Eventually Bella and Jake showed up and I beamed at both of them.

"Sooo what'd you guys do?" I say wiggling my eyebrows suggestively, causing everyone else to laugh while both Bella and Jake looked down, making us all laugh harder.

Time went by quickly after that. I spend alot of time keeping Emily company since the pack was gone a lot looking for Victoria, the red headed vampire who wanted to hurt my sister. We became pretty close, Emily and I she was very kind and we talked about everything together. I also hung out with Embry whenever I could, much to the packs teasing we had also gotten even closer and I loved being around him, he made me feel safe and content.

Currently me and Embry were sitting on the beach my head on his shoulder, his arm around me. Neither of us were talking, just watching the waves in a serene silence. Suddenly he let out a sigh and I looked at him moving my head of his shoulder.

"What is it Em?" I asked softly. Instead of responding he simply moved in closer, took my face into his hand and kissed me. I was shocked for a moment before returning the gesture, wrapping my arms around his neck, one of his hands on my face, the other moving to my hair. After a short time I pulled back and giggled slightly.

"Oh" was all I said, a smile on both of our faces. Suddenly we heard someone say or names, looking up I saw Jared waving his arms and hurried over.

"What is it?" Embry questioned.

"It's Bella she went cliff diving and almost drowned, she's at Billy's now." Jared quickly responded looking at me. I was shocked and scared about what happened to my big sister.

"Well what are we waiting for let's go." So we did, hurrying over to Billy's I opened the door without knocking and looked around to see my sister covered in blankets.

"Bella oh my god! Are you okay? What happened? What were you thinking?" I half yelled as I pulled my sister in for a hug.

"I'm okay Co don't worry I'm fine now" she murmured softly and I sighed.

"Don't ever scare me like that again Isabella Swan, you understand me?" I said sternly and she only nodded before I pulled her in for another hug. After a moment I pulled back.

"Come on Bella-boo lets go home." I suggested pulling my sister up with me.

"I'll drive" Jake offered.

"I'm coming too." Embry quickly said and I just nodded letting them lead the way as I got into the truck with my sister.

The drive to the house was silent, but as soon as we were getting out the guys quickly closed the door.

"I smell vampire we have to get out of here." Jake said, starting the car.

"Wait that's Carlisles car, they won't hurt us." Bella said quickly. That turned into a fight whilst I stayed silent letting them decide where to go. Eventually Bella got out of the car and I followed despite Jake and Embry's protests. Opening the door and allowing Bella entry to the house I switched on the lights only to see a little pixie vampire, who I could only assume is Alice standing in the living room.

"Alice" my sister said, startled by her appearance than running to her. I moved to go upstairs allowing them privacy. I went to change into a pair of black leggings and a long cream sweater that falls of one shoulder, pulling my hair into a messy ponytail I went downstairs hearing an argument, from what I gathered Bella's ex, Edward was going to the Volturi to kill himself, because he thinks Bella's dead, now Bella has to go save him. Without a word I go and pack a bag of the essentials and my passport, grab my leather jacket, and a pair of converse and silently follow Bella to the car.

"Wait Echo you can't seriously be going to?" Embry says looking at me pleading me to stay.

"She's my sister Em I have to go with her" and with that I pull him into a quick hug, kissing his cheek and muttering a goodbye, I follow Bella to the car, where her and Jake are saying there goodbyes.

Of to Italy we go.
