Jane Volturi was a mess. She would never dare show it but on the inside she simply wanted to kill everyone and find her mate.
She couldn't understand why Echo would choose to leave. The only thing she could possibly come up with was that she had chosen to stand with the Cullen's but that hurt.
Jane didn't understand how Echo could leave her mate. She hated Echo for making her weak, but even when she hated Echo Volturi she still loved the woman eternally.
All the blonde wanted was to have Echo back in her arms. She wanted her safe and home, where Jane could protect her from the world. She couldn't. Jane had to work on getting witnesses of there own.
The fact that this had happened, and Echo had left. Only made Jane despise the Cullen's even more. Not only were they completely going against there own nature but they had taken away her mate, the only person besides her twin that she truly loved.
Was she not enough? Did she do something wrong? What had happened that made Echo leave? It was those questions that plagued Jane Volturi's mind as she prepared for battle.
