Echo's POV

"Edward." I said, causing him to look at me through the seat of the plane, we had just lifted of and Bella had fallen asleep. I wanted to talk to Edward and Alice.

"Um so I was wondering if you could like not tell anyone about the whole mate thing? I'm not really ready to tell anyone about having one, or that it's a girl." I said shyly, fidgeting with the bottom of my shirt.

"Of course we will." Alice said, putting her hand on top of mine. Edward nodded and I smiled at both of them.

"Thank you." I said before putting my head on Alice's shoulder, and fell asleep thinking about Jane.

A few days had passed and I was avoiding the pack and instead hanging out with the Cullen's. I was actually very close with the Cullen family, even Rosalie warmed up to me, stating I was the only human she liked. Jasper also didn't want to drain me, so we spent a lot of time reading together.

Deciding I would go to the beach to think about everything I got up, dressing in light wash jeans, a white V-neck ribbed long-sleeve and my leather Jacket, I hurried out the door.

After arriving I quickly sat down, allowing my thoughts to overwhelm my brain. I thought about the kiss Embry and I shared, how at the time I thought it was right but know I knew how wrong it was, how he paled in comparison to my mate. My mate, Jane. She was perfect, my everything, my whole world, and I missed her so incredibly much.

I was so wrapped up in my own mind that I didn't notice someone approaching until they sat down next to me. I didn't even have to look to recognize who it was, instead I just put my head on there cold shoulder.

"Hello Jane." I whispered, smiling slightly.

"What are you thinking about?" She asked, and I sighed.

"Life, the world, you." I confessed, looking at her as I said the last statement. She was dressed in a simple black dress and heels.

"I love you." I blurted out before I could stop myself. Then looked away, my face warming up.

"And I love you, now don't hide your face, it's beautiful." She whispered, using her hands to guide my eyes back to hers as she placed her lips onto mine. The kiss seemed to last for only a second before she pulled away.

"Why does it smell like wet dog here?" Jane questioned scrunching her nose up in disgust. Causing me to laugh.

"There's a pack here, technically this is there lands, we should actually be leaving soon." I stated before getting up, Jane followed in suit before sighing.

"I have to go, I am supposed to be going back to Volterra but I wanted to see you." Jane said and I nodded sadly before kissing her. This kiss was filled with passion and she quickly slipped her mouth down to my neck, I didn't realize what she was doing fast enough, and Jane had already given me several hickeys, by the time I gasped and pulled away.

"Jane you didn't." I asked. She just smirked before placing soft kisses on my neck.

"Your mine." Was all she said. Though that statement was enough, if I'm going to be honest I felt slightly turned on by the hickeys and smiled, nodding my head.

"But it's no fair, I can't do it to you." I said pouting slightly, Jane giggled and I couldn't help but marvel at the sound. She was truly beautiful, perfect even. Sure she did bad things so people sometimes, but staring at her now, I couldn't help but marvel at her greatness

"Perfect." I muttered, causing Jane to smile, in sure if she couldn't blush she would.

"Don't worry my love, everyone will know I'm yours soon enough." She stated. Kissing me softly on the lips once again.

"I love you." I whispered and she smiled.

"And I love you." Jane said softly before leaving. I sighed, sad to see her go. But I knew she would be back, for we had all of eternity now.

Many weeks past at a slow and agonizing pace, Bella's gradation was soon, and I was helping the Cullen's set up a party they were throwing the next night. Alice had somehow coerced me into being her doll for the evening and picked out my whole outfit. I was to go over to there house directly after graduation to get ready. Right now I was fiddling nervously with my fingers. Let me explain, currently I was sitting on the couch waiting for the perfect moment to tell them about Jane.

"What is it Co? Why are you nervous?" Jasper asked me softly. Everyone looked up and moved over to me, out of the corner of my eye I saw Edward nod.

"Well um you see I haven't been completely honest with you, there's something I need to tell you but I've been scared about how you'll respond." I said and they all nodded encouraging.

"Well um when we went to Volterra a found my mate, and it's a girl."  I whispered and they all looked at me.

"Jane." Was all I said, and they all stared wide eyed for a second before Rosalie got up, surprisingly and hugged me.

"Thank you for telling us, your still like my sister no matter who you like, I might not like Jane but if your happy, I can tolerate her." She stated and I smiled looking around to see everyone nodded, and beamed at them.

"Thank you so much you don't know how much this means." I said hugging everyone of the Cullen's, before excusing myself to go home. Now I had to go tell Charlie.
