Echo Volturi giggled happily as she ran through the Italian countryside on her way back home. She was coming back home from a mission with the other four high guard and they were currently racing to see who would be the fastest.
"Catch me if you can." Echo hollered to her wife as she zoomed faster. Laughter was heard from behind her as she approached Volterra, slowing now with the knowledge that she had one.
"No fair Echo we can't all be new norms." Felix complained causing Echo to chuckle.
"Well I only have the next few months too near you and then an eternity of trying." Echo stated with a smirk as she grabbed her mates hand and walked into the castle, ignoring the receptionist that Demetri flirted with and instead opening the doors to the throne room. Immediately Echo was embraced by Venus before moving to hug Demetri and going back to her place at her mates side.
"I assume you were successful?" Aro questioned and Jane nodded.
"Yes master." Jane replied while giving Aro her hand.
"Wonderful my darlings." Aro replied with a smile and a giggle.
Venus then laughed happily and everyone looked at her.
"Sorry. The voices." Venus stated while beaming at everyone. The guard had become used to Venus's odd statements and simply chuckled at the strawberry blonde while Caius just stared at her, obvious adoration in his eyes.
It made Echo truly happy to see Venus and Caius so happy, especially after the Athenodora problems. Though a part of her desperately missed Forks. Echo missed her family, her sister, the pack. It was late October so she knew that show would be falling and everything would be beautiful.
"Echo are you okay?" Jane asked her mate worriedly.
"I'm fine my love I simply miss my sister and the Cullen's that's all." Echo stated with a small smile before departing, choosing to go to the gardens.
That's where she currently sat when she got a jolt of knowledge that would change her life.
