I readjust my shoulder strap of my backpack and took a deep breath. Everybody was staring at me once I walked inside. "You know staring is bad," I announced frustrated. Students stopped staring and went back to whatever they did.

Once I got my schedule, I collided with a hard body and fell on my butt. Great now everybody thinks I'm a bitch and I embarrassed myself already.
A hand came to view and I lift myself up. The person who I collided with is so tall when I looked at him. Is he like a descendent of Hagrid or something?

"No but I do love Harry Potter," the guy said. Shit, I said that out loud.

"Sorry, I didn't know where I was going. My name is Jo," I shook hands with him.

"Well hello Jo, welcome to Evergreen High. My name is Shawn," he said. I took a few steps back and looked at him in the eye, "Shawn as in Shawn Mendes?" I can't take my finger on it. He nodded but had a confused look on his face. "Shawn!" A girl whined and wrapped his arms around him.

"Hey Caroline. Jo meet Caroline. Caroline meet Jo," Shawn said gesturing towards me and her.

Caroline wore a baseball tee, a flannel wrapped around her waist, and a beanie that said "fuck off". Guessing she's a tomboy.

I got lost a few times but other than that, I was fine.

"Hey new girl," I looked at a guy who was waving at me in the distance and walked towards him with my tray of food.

When I was halfway, a random foot stuck out and I fell having food all over me. "The food blends in with her," a girl smirked and laughed with her snobby friends. This person thinks she's all that, well I'm going to teach her a lesson.

"Hey," she turned around and I smacked her head to the table, then punched her in the nose. "You shouldn't have done that, bitch," I growled and released her.

I stormed out of the cafeteria and sat down by a random locker. Now I smell like pizza and orange juice.

"You okay?" A guy said.
I looked at the guy and it was the same guy who called me over before I fell.
"Obviously not. I smell like pizza and orange juice," I said annoyed.

He gave me a tight hug and said, "Now I smell like pizza and orange juice." We walked where the gym showers were and washed our bodies much as possible with our clothes on.

"Uhh.." he forget to tell me his name. "It's Jonah," he smiled. He gave me extra clothes since I didn't have any and went to our next period which we had together.

On the intercom, the principal called my name and I shrugged. The principal didn't look too happy when I walked in her office. Her arms were crossed and had a stern look.

"Jo, care to explain why you slammed Kayla's head to the table?" I tried to explain but she cut me off. "You know what, after school detention for 2 days. She has a broken nose now," Ms. Perkins said.

A small laugh came out of my mouth, "you think it's funny? 3 days of after school detention." I huffed in annoyance and left before she let me be excused. That bitch deserved it, it was her fault she tripped me on purpose.

I walked back in class and stayed at my seat next to this girl with brown hair.

"Hi," I said to her. She put her attention on me and widened in fear, "y-you're talking t-to me?" she pointed to herself.

I nodded, "my name is jo, I just moved here from Europe." I guess she wasn't scared anymore because their was no fear in her voice, "Europe? That's so far from here. My name is Sarah. I was scared of you because many of students were starting rumors that there's a new girl here and she's a bad girl."
Huh, well that's a shocker. I mean like I just had a bad day. I cracked a smile and continued to talk to her until the bell rang to go home.

I tried to open my locker but it wouldn't freaking budge. I tried everything, everything as hitting it with a textbook.

"Need help?" I turned around and Shawn smiled.

"Yes I need help asap," I said. He chuckled and did this punch thing and it magically opened. We walked together outside and my mom's car wasn't here.

"Ugh. Why mom?" I slumped on the wall. "Your mom isn't here to pick you up?" I shook my head. "Cmon I'll drive you home," he twisted his keys around. I smiled at him in thanks and walked to his car. Damn, his car is a beauty. A black Jeep Wrangler with leather seats. I stared at it like it's the hottest thing in the world.

"Jo, it's a car not me so stop drooling," he laughed and opened my door.

"I mean you're good looking but this car is smokin," I laughed. "So is Caroline your best friend or something?" I looked at him.

He shrugged, "been best friends since freshman year, " he said turning the corner.

"That was when I went to move to Europe," that was the last thing I said before we came into view of my house. My house was an average suburb house with a porch and a three car garage.

"Thanks for the ride Shawn. I'll see you at school tomorrow," I smiled at him and closed the door.

I turned away from him when he rolled down the window, "wait," he said. He handed me his phone and I looked at the screen showing a new contact with my name on it.

"Put your number in it and I'll text you," Shawn said.

I nodded and changed my name to "Europe Girl :)." I gave his phone back and waved at him when I went inside the house. Moving boxes were everywhere, all sorts of shapes and sizes. It's the same house we lived in before we moved to Europe.

"Hey honey, would you mind if you can carry your boxes to your room?" my mom said while taking things out of the box.

I mumbled a small sure and went to grab a big box but it wasn't that hard to lift. All I could see was the box when I tried to look at my left and right. I took a step but something off of my foot which made me lose my balance. Things fell out of the box and my mom snickered because she saw everything.

My hair was all over the place, "Luke," I yelled.
Footsteps coming down the stairs was heard, Luke took one of his ear buds out, "What do you want?" Luke is my 14 year old who is going through puberty so he's really moody for no reason. He basically has a period but not really. He's already taller than me by a few inches, well that's because I'm only 5'4.

"Leave your skateboard outside. I almost died when I slipped on your stupid board," I exclaimed with annoyance.

He rolled his eyes, "Oh sorry your highness." Ugh whatever.
Man, if only I could throw him in the pool. Oh wait that's a good plan.

I smiled mischievously but frowned when my mom said, "Do not throw your brother in the pool, Jo." I groaned and walked outside to get some fresh air.

When Shawn gave me a ride, I saw a cafe. Once I got closer to the cafe, the smell of coffee and pastries filled my nostrils. My stomach grumbled and looked around embarrassed as if someone heard my stomach. Thankfully nobody did and I went in line.

"Hi, how can I help you today?" The lady at the counter said sweetly.

"Can I get a chocolate chip muffin?" I said getting money out of my pocket.

"That will be $2.50," she said. She handed me the warm delicious muffin and I happily took it and walked away. I was about to bite the sweet savory goodness just when a body pushed into me.

Who do you think it was? In this story, I'm going to pretend that Shawn is still in school. You can imagine Jo whatever you want. I had this published but unpublished it because I wanted to discontinue it. It use to be called "Remember Me" Anyways, hope you liked this chapter :)
