I wake up to my mom's incredibly loud snoring, that's my alarm clock. First I groan, get out of bed, and start my morning ritual.

My morning ritual consists of me doing my list of chores, putting on my decided outfit for the day, brushing my hair out, washing my face, brushing my teeth, and grabbing my backpack with all my supplies stuffed in there. It doesn't take me too long though because I'm not such a fashionista, I wear simple jeans and a plain gray teeshirt with black converse, not very interesting.

I look at the clock it's 7:00 am, SHIT! I have to be there in 30 minutes!! I scramble out of my house at fast as I can and take off running like a marathon runner down my street.

At school you see all your obvious stereotypes in groups, the jocks, the goths, the nerds, and the fakes. Me, I like to consider myself too cool for all that stupid shit! I don't need anyone except for myself and my alternative music blasting in my ears. Now music, music I can trust, it speaks what words can not, shares in my pain and my sadness, and can use it whenever I need it.

As I walk inside, the group of fakes snicker as I walk by and I just look at them and smile sweetly, that's all you need to do, really.

I get in a line to receive my schedule. My first period is geometry, great. As I head to my first class people laugh and try to trip me. Ugh this is going to suck.

After many class periods, I was finally home eating ramen noodles as I always do, when I realized, my 18 birthday was in a month. Nothing really to be excited about, but for some reason I feel like I have been waiting for this my WHOLE life, maybe it because I have the choice to move out or maybe it's because I will officially be an adult. Who knows.....

Again, my mom came home drunk at 2:00 am, but this time she had alcohol.

In the morning I did the same thing went to school and went to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th period. Then it was lunch. I went to go sit at my loner table as usual when a cute jock came over.

"Hey, Ruby," he said while pushing his dark brown hair out of the way of his hazel eyes.

"H-hey," I answered. As you can tell I'm 'wonderful' at socializing.

" I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies with me on Saturday?" he asked

"M-me?" I shakily answered

"Yeah of course you!" he replied.

"NO sorry," I quickly answered

"Why not!?" he asked while making a disappointed face

"Your just tricking me!" I scream while standing up and running to the bathroom. As I left I could hear EVERY ONE in the lunch room laugh as hard as they possibly could. Then I came back and see Brittany.Your average dumb blonde with blue eyes, and the cruelest of all the fakes, maybe even the cruelest person in the world, ugh just thinking of her is vile! She smiles and gives the cute jock a kiss on the cheek leaving pink lipstick marks. I should have know it was her who put him up to this, she has been causing my pain since 2nd grade, she never stops. Anyone could have mistaken her for Satan!

I am finally home laying in my bed listening to music while I fall asleep
