Chapter 5: My New Home

When we got to their home I guess, which is a really nice house in the mountains with a huge garden outside and a whole wall of windows it all looks so modern and beautiful, but I had no time to explore all of it. Right when I get there I pass out on the floor only to see Aaron running towards me as I fall.

I woke up in a sort of Victorian room with a velvet canopy bed in the middle of the room, a vanity to the front, a dresser to the right of the bed, and a door to the left of the bed. I looked down at my body only to see myself in old ugly blood stained clothes so I decided to look through the dresser to find more.

As I went through the dresser I found tons and tons of jeans and a little too much of fancy of shirts, but they would have to do. I slipped on some blue jeans and a black lace top over my head.

When I got down from the spiral stairs I ended up in a huge library where I see everyone ,except my mom, eating lunch while reading ancient books with dust all over them. Joanna then looked up and saw me, rolled her eyes, and kept on reading. What's her problem?

I kept walking further through this huge library when I see Aaron sitting with Jason talking. I start walking towards them and sit down.

"Oh hi, sleeping beauty is finally awake! " says Aaron

I smile

"Sadly, she had to wake." said Jason rudely

"Hey, Jason, be nice," says Aaron," Don't mind him, he hates new people."

"No, I love new people, I just don't like sluts." Jason answers

"Excuse me!" I scream, "I, in fact, am a virgin, you DICK!"

"She's got a temper, this one, I like her." says Aaron while smirking

"No need to get your panties in a twist." says Jason while laughing in a jerky way.

"Come one let's go somewhere else." says Aaron while standing up, grabbing my arm, and pulling me towards the living room.

When we get there I ask "What's his and the other girl Joanna's problem?"

"They're brother and sister and are just like two peas in a pod, if one doesn't like something, then the other one doesn't either, but I'm guessing they just don't like new people, and they think we baby you too much." he answers.

"Okay........... that's stupid." I say

" Yeah, well people are people." he says

I just sit there staring into his icy blue eyes thinking.

Then he starts to talk which startles me and brings me out of my trance

" You were so tired yesterday."

"yeah, it must have been from all the news and and I guess I was traumatized." I answer

"I bet you were, who wouldn't be." Aaron states

"So why are you guys looking through those books?" I ask

"Well Roslyn, your not the only one in training."

"Oh."

"Your very quiet aren't you?" he asks

"Sorry, it's just I don't socialize much." I respond.

"There is no need to be sorry." He states while smiling sweetly making his icy eyes light up, filling me with a feeling of comfort.

"Want to go watch a movie with me in the movie theater?"

"You guys have your own movie theater!?" I ask

"Why of course we do! What house doesn't." he sarcastically says while taking my arm ,again, and leading me through their Maze of a house.

When we get to the movie theater you see tons of chairs in front of a huge screen and a whole wall with built in shelves with thousands of movies filling it.

"Okay, any preferences?" he asks

"I've never seen a movie ever, I've only heard of them......" I say as I grow embarrassed and my cheeks turn red.

"None!" he astoundingly says," Well first you need to watch a classic to start you off...................."The Breakfast Club" of course."

When we finish, it's dinner time so all of us head to the huge table that took most of the house up. I see tons of food I have never tried and don't know the name of sitting there. My mom Emily and the two blonde siblings already eating. Emily slowly sips her wine and continues to eat savoring each bite while Jason stuffs his face, "pig." I mutter under my breath.

Aaron and I both sit down across from each other. I don't even know where to start, when finally I recognize the mashed potatoes and put some on my plate.

"How was your sleep Roslyn?" my mom asks.

"It was great." I state while putting the mashed potatoes in my mouth. Oh my gosh, it is so delicious.

"Good, make sure you get great sleep tonight as well..... tomorrow you start training, Aaron and Jason will be teaching you," Emily responds," you may also sleep in the same room you slept in last night."

I swallow, smile thankfully and say"Thank you."

After dinner I start my journey on finding my room again. When I finally find it and am about to open the door someone grabs my shoulder and throws me so hard against the wall I hear my teeth grind together. I turn to see the source and find myself looking into Joanna's dark and cold blue eyes and she says

"You will leave now you selfish bitch!" pushing me into the wall harder. I grind my teeth even harder against the pain.

"What did I do!?" I ask

"You come here making everyone feel so much stupid self pity towards you, you don't deserve that! Then you steal Aaron from me! You can not have him, do you hear me. You leave now or you will regret it." Joanna replys

"No, I am sick and tired of people like you who think they can have everything, so I don't care, make my life a living hell, but I would like to see you try!" I yell while breaking free from her grip and slamming the door in her face.

I then lay in my bed thinking of training tomorrow.
