You looked at the mirror one last time before taking your purse and walking out the door. It was your friend, Fei's birthday, and she invited you to come to her house. She never really celebrated her birthday, but she said that today was special to her.

You unlocked the door to your car and put on your seatbelt. You started up the car and drove to her house. It wasn't that far away from yours, but you're lazy so you decided to go by car.

You saw her house and you stopped your car outside. MCR's music was heard from inside the house. Typical Fei. You chuckled and stepped outside. You went inside the house, it was decorated with some balloons and some other things. There weren't many people, just her close friends and some other people you don't recognize.

"(Y/N)! Nice to see you!" Fei said, hugging you very tightly. "Air, Fei!" She pulled away and chuckled, "oops," she said shrugging. The song bulletproof heart blared through the speakers and Fei perked up and sung. She really has a nice voice, it's a shame that she doesn't really sing much often. (this is really me lol)

"There's some pizza in the kitchen, eat as much as you want," Fei said, smirking. She knows your eternal love for pizza, so she often gives pizza to you. She doesn't often give her food, so you know that she's really a true friend to you.

You smiled and went to the kitchen, grabbing yourself a slice of the cheesy goodness, enjoying every bite you take. You sighed and swinged from side to side. A boy then walked into the room. He had beautiful emerald eyes that seemed to shine. He was cute.

He looked in your direction and you smiled and waved. He waved back shyly, which was really cute.

He sat next to you and grabbed a slice of pizza. "Hi." You said, looking into his emerald eyes. "H-hey." He said, smiling a little bit. "You a friend of Fei?" Well, obviously. You mentally facepalmed. "Y-yeah, we met in college. S-she's really nice." You nodded in agreement.

"Hey you two lovebirds! Come to the living room for a second."Fei said, literally popping out of nowhere. She really scares you sometimes.

You stood up with the boy and walked towards the living room. "I'm (Y/N)," you introduced. "J-Jeremy." You smiled and brought your attention to Fei. She was grabbing her guitar and adjusted the mic. You felt excited of what she was doing.

"Hey, guys! So I kinda wanted to "perform" a song. It's called Pity Party by my queen, Melanie Martinez." She gave a toothy grin at the audience and strummed the guitar. You took out your phone and secretly started recording. She won't be mad if you don't show her the video. Brilliant.

She strummed the last chord and the audience whistled and clapped. She bowed a little bit and flashed a goofy smile. Her best friend walked in with a big ass cake with many candles on top. You all sang happy birthday and she blew the candles, making a weird face after.

The people started to say their goodbyes, only her friends stayed including you. Jeremy was still there, talking to Fei. Then you saw Jeremy glanced at you, which made you look away. Fei noticed and went to your direction and nudged you, "I know you want him, so go get em, fam!" You glared at her and she only smiled in response.

You walked to him and tapped his shoulder, "can I have your number?" He blushed and nodded. You gave him your phone and he stared typing. "Uh, d-do you maybe wanna h-hangout sometime? Y-you don't h-have to, I mean-"

"I'd love to, Jeremy."

It was a start of a beautiful friendship.

Fei is a match maker, really.
