Your eyes beamed in excitement as you looked at your surrounding. Lights of various colors; songs of Christmas carols was heard; the fluffy snow that covered almost everything in sight. It was beautiful. Nothing can describe by words on how much you loved Christmas.
You held your mother's hand and ran as your little legs can take.
"Now, slow down, (Y/N)." Your mother cooed. "But mum, I want to see them!" You whined, slightly pouting. "We will be there very soon, dear. Just wait," she ruffled your hair and flashed a motherly smile. You grumbled and tried to fix your hair.
You were visiting your best friend, Jeremy. Along with Mike, Doll, Fritz, Scott, and Vincent. You don't like Vincent though, he has cooties. You made a disgusted face and giggled.
You saw a familiar house and ran to it. You tried to reach the doorbell, but couldn't. So you knocked instead. Jeremy's mother opened the door and smiled. "Come in, (Y/N)! Jeremy's waiting for you!" She then greeted your mother and had a little chat before walking and talking with the other moms.
You ran upstairs to Jeremy's room, tripping a few times. You saw them laughing with cookies and milk in front of them. You walked in and waved.
"H-hi (Y/N)!"
"Hello, (Y/N)."
"Can I have another cookie- oh, hi (Y/N)!"
"Yo."
"Nice to see you, (Y/N)!"
"Hi, love~"If you recognize who is who, you're awesome!
You smiled and sat down. Jeremy handed you the last cookie and glass of milk, slightly blushing. "I ship it." Doll whispered to Mike. Blushing, you accept it and bite into the sweet chocolaty goodness.
You guys chatted and played. They're your best friends. And you were thankful.
"Hey, let's play Truth or Dare!" You exclaimed. They agreed and sat in a circle. Luckily, Vincent didn't sat next to you, Jeremy did.
"Mike, truth or dare?" You asked him, smirking. "Dare." He crossed his arms. You thought for a second. "I dare you to dance in front of Vincent!" His face dropped and he gulped. He stood up and began dancing in front of the purple grape maniac.
You all burst out laughing. Well, except for Mike and Vincent. Vincent looks very pleased though. This went on and on until it was Doll's turn.
"(Y/N)!" She shouted, catching your attention. "I dare you to kiss Jeremy!" Easy. "On the lips." Her pink lips curled up into a smirk. You blushed crimson red and anxiously turned to Jeremy.
You leaned in, shaking because of the cold, winty air. Oh god, this is it. Your lips were centimeters apart. Finally, the gap closed and you exploded inside. You quickly pulled apart, pulled your beanie and hid your burning hot face, hoping that it will end.
"OH MY GOD, THEY DID IT! MY SHIP HAS SAILED WOO!" They high fived each other, doing a little victory dance. Little do you know, your mother and Jeremy's were watching by the door, smiling and hoping.
-8 years later-
You and the crew were 18 years old, studying in high school. You and the crew promised each other that no one's going to drift apart. Jeremy and you were best friends, well you wanted something a little more than that. Ever since the kiss happened, the two of you had gotten more close to each other, if it was possible.
You went to your locker, put your book away and sighed. You felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned back and saw Doll smiling at you. "Hi, Doll!" She waved and held your hand. She dragged you to a quiet place and whispered, "Jeremy likes you." You blushed and scoffed. "Yeah, right. We're just friends, Doll." She smirked and put her hands up. "Sure."
