Chapter 18- Stay With Me... Please...

Ryu's POV
Obi quickly lifted up Kiroyuki and glanced at me to notified me to follow him as he carried Kiroyuki. I nodded my head and looked around the room for Izana, but failed to spot him since it was only the gang and myself.

"Shirayuki! Get some potential tonics and medical relievers! Kiki, please go along with Shirayuki! Mitsuhide, we're going to accompany Kiroyuki and Ryu!"

Everyone understood their orders and dashed off to their designated locations. We all ran out of her office and quickly and hastily ran to her chambers to where she can rest. My thoughts went back to where Izana had gone and to Kiroyuki's health and condition as I stared at the ground solemnly.

"....wait..... Hanayuki..... Who...." My eyes diverted back to Kiroyuki's shaking body and felt my heart ache in pain as I felt a short gasp stuck in my throat. I hate seeing her scared or hurt... It hurts me too.....

"Kiroyuki...." I quietly mumbled in concern as Kiroyuki shake continuously.

"Mitsuhide, open the door." Mitsuhide nodded his head and advance before us to open her door for us to quickly dart through. I gasped in realization... this was my first time in Kiroyuki's room..... I felt my cheeks warm up but I mentally shook it off because I was worries if Kiroyuki's condition.

I pulled down the bed's sheets as Obi carefully placed down Kiroyuki onto the bed. I quickly placed the blanket over Kiroyuki's chest. I stared at Kiroyuki's disturbed face with concern and felt myself drowning in my own world.... My thoughts was only consumed of Kiroyuki's well being...

"Ryu." I flinched and turned my head to Zen and nodded my head slowly.

"Don't worry Ryu. She'll be fine... She's strong." I nodded my head and looked back at Kiroyuki before the door of her room quickly opened to reveal Shirayuki and Kiki.

"I brought some pain relievers, better than what I originally brought during her break down." Shirayuki placed down herbs and tonics onto Kiroyuki's bed side table and tired her short hair into a bun. "Ryu, can you pour some of the liquid tonic onto the cloth?"
I nodded my head and quickly grabbed the tan bottle and carefully poured some onto a cream colored cloth.

"... Mitsuhide, can you bring a basin of water?..." I steadily asked as I closed the bottle's cap.

"Of course. I'll be back shortly!" Mitsuhide ran out of the room to grab a basin from most likely from the medical wing and so he can fill it up from Kiroyuki's bathroom.

"Ryu, can you lift up Kiroyuki's head for me?" I nodded my head and stood by Kiroyuki's side. Her face paled in color and her breaths were uneven. I carefully tilted her head up as Shirayuki poured down a liquid medical pain reliever that works most on patients who have uncontainable pain.

"Shirayuki, is Kiroyuki going to be fine?" I slowly set Kiroyuki's head back down onto the pillow and stared at her form that slowly calmed it's shaking and breaths that were more calmer and smooth

"She should be stable for the meantime....." At this moment, Mitsuhide had also arrived to quickly fill the basin.

"I'll go fill it up right away!" Mitsuhide rushed into the bathroom and quickly filled up the basin he had just retrieved and brought it over to me. I thanked him and placed the damped cloth and soaked it in the cool water. I wring out the towel and placed it onto Kiroyuki's forehead.

"Ryu." I turned around to face Obi and nodded my head in response and questioning.

"Do you think you'll be fine watching over Kiroyuki?" ..........*poof*.....

"E-eh?!...... M-me?..." I felt my face heat up right away as my heart starting beating faster and faster in nervousness.

"I agree too. I think Kiroyuki would be fine with Ryu staying by her side when she wakes up."
