Unbreakable Bonds 《Book 2》

Chapter 10

-3rd Person-

The red head watches a certain team from afar, standing infront of the gates of Konoha. She can't help but feel as if there's a void inside her chest as she watch Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi quarrel about their mission.

"I told you that we should've brought my baby girl!" Kakashi whines with animated crocodile tears, having the urge to just poof away and get Mizuki.

"SHE JUST CAME BACK FROM A MISSION, LET HER REST!" Naruto barks in annoyance for the nth time as the entire morning all he hears was Kakahi whining like some child, begging to bring his little sister.

"She does need to rest, Ice Island was quite far" The pinkette chimes in with a suggestive tone.

Honestly, Sakura will do anything for Mizuki to forgive her. What she did was horrible, every other day should would remember flashbacks on how Mizuki looked when she left her on the cliff hanging, the terrified expression, her screams of panic... she'll do anything.

She hasn't seen Mizuki yet since she got so busy with research in the hospital. She was trying to learn on how to extract strong venoms and poisons from individuals. Hopefully they get to meet soon.

Man... this book 2 is full of unresolved trauma—-

"We better get going, the earlier we go, you get to see Mizuki" Sakira says with a deep sigh, can't really stand Kakashi's whining as she stretches her limbs, hearing small pops from it.

"BUT- MIZUK—" Before Kakashi could even whine and complain more, Naruto decided to just push him forward in irritation so that they can finally start walking.

"NOOOOOOOOO" you can hear Kakashi's scream just outside the gates, causing both Izumo and Kotetsu to sweatdrop at the team.

"Kakashi never changed...." The both of them trailed as they watch Naruto arguing with the team.

Just from a far, the red head continues to watch them go further and further. Still bummed that she couldn't come with them.

Mizuki lets out a deep sigh before shaking her head.

I should really start looking at the brighter side of things! ( ˘̀︹˘́ ) So what if Onii-chan never sent me a letter for the past 1,095 days of being apart from....each...other.... (╥︣﹏᷅╥᷅)

The red head thoughts as a gloomy cloud forms on her head, sulking about the fact that she never got a letter

"B-breakfast...." She mumbles to herself as she feel her stomach growl from hunger since she wasn't able to have a meal yesterday probably- well technically she did have a girl dinner which consisted of 2 takoyaki balls, 1 cherry tomato and half an avocado dipped in honey.

Mizuki doesn't really eat much during her stay with Alex and the others, in fact, she ate so less that Killer Bee had to always have dinner with her to make sure that she atleast reach her daily nutrients. Mizuki isn't severely underweight but she's quite boney.

We're all sure that Kakashi is gonna freak out when he finds out about this.

-Mizuki-

As I finish my final bite of my bowl of cereal, I looked around my room.

What should I do for the following days? Should I go visit Shikamaru and the gang? Visit Grandpa? Iruka-sensei? Maybe Mama and Papa's graves?

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a sound just behind me.

I quickly looked back and saw a pigeon with a paper attached on its leg, its the same pigeon that I always see when I recieve a letter from Sasuke-san!

My heart leaps in joy as I hurredly stood up and dashed towards the window with my cup of water.

"H-hi little guy, I'm so glad to see you again!" I happily chirp out with a smile, offering it my cold glass of water while I take the letter out.

Happily unfolding the paper, something is  inside it! There was some bumps and what feels like a stem.

There it was, a single lavender with a small ribbon tied around it.

Hi Mizuki,

It's been a while since my last letter, I got very bsuy since Orochimaru kept wanting to migrate and all.

How are you? Have you been eating well? Are you taking care of yourself properly? Make sure to always eat alright? Did you get the lavender?

I'm currently staying in a lavender field right now and thought that you might love having one as well.

Don't worry much about me, I'm taking care of myself, I'm not letting this snake creep go near me at all. Be careful there, Kabuto is out on some mission right now, and I'm not sure on where he is headed at.

Did you meet your brother and your friends? Make sure to spend time with them.

Always take care of yourself alright? I'll send in another letter when I'm available again.

I couldn't help but smile at the letter as I finish reading it. The bird rested on my bed as I read knowing that it has to go back to Sasuke-san right after.

I took in the small lavender and placed it on the bedside table. Before take a piece of paper to respond to the letter.

After some time~

I finished writing back the letter and gave it back to the pigeon before leavjng the house, feeling so much better right now after recieving the letter.

Sasuske-san's last letter was about 3 weeks ago! I was so worried since he mentioned that Orochimaru was gonna do some type of experiment on him with his blood! Turns out he wanted to make some type of seal or something with it.

I walk through the streets of Konoha, still wondering what I should do for the rest of the day and the following days till my team's return.

I hope they're doing well right now...

I KNOW U GUYS WANTED MIZUKI TO JOINNN and honestly I want to as well but I realized that we're a bit too far behind from the original plot so I decided to make her stay.

BUT HEY- AT LEAST WE FINALLY GOT A SAZUKI MOMENT AMIRYT???😎😎
