-3rd Person-
Mizuki stands in the open training ground, staring at her charred gloves, her fingers still tingling from the brief but intense flames. Her mind is racing, a whirlwind of thoughts spiraling around her newfound element—fire. Fire, something so destructive and powerful, now lies in her hands, waiting to be tamed.
She looks over at Naruto, who is training nearby, his usual energetic self throwing himself into the waterfall exercise Yamato has set up for him. His loud shouts echo across the clearing, and she can hear the steady rush of water from where she stands, the sound blending with Naruto's determination as he works on channeling his wind chakra.
Mizuki turns away from the noise and looks at the ground, her brow furrowing in concentration. She's always been quiet, the type to think before she acts, and this training is no different. While Naruto jumps headfirst into things, she needs to think—analyze every detail before taking the plunge. Fire is dangerous. She knows that well. But if she can control it, maybe she can use it in a way that complements her fighting style, something precise yet deadly.
Her fingers unconsciously move toward the pouch at her side, pulling out a single senbon needle. She holds it between her thumb and index finger, turning it slowly in the light, watching how the sun glints off its thin, metallic surface. Senbon needles have always been her weapon of choice—small, subtle, effective. They pierce through an opponent's defenses without them even realizing it. And now, she has fire. What if she could combine the two? What if she could create a jutsu that not only pierces but burns as well?
The thought makes her pulse quicken. A fire needle.
Something that could burn through almost anything with the precision of a senbon but the destructive power of fire. It would be a delicate balance, controlling both elements at once, but if she could pull it off, it could be her signature move—her own original jutsu.
Mizuki tightens her grip on the senbon, her mind working through the logistics. She needs to break this down step by step, analyze the structure and weight of the senbon, understand how fire interacts with the wind, and figure out how to fuse the two elements into something cohesive.
Her thoughts drift back to her earlier training. Fire is wild, hard to control, but it has immense power if directed properly. Wind, on the other hand, is more fluid, capable of enhancing the speed and intensity of fire. Naruto's wind element comes naturally to him, just like her fire. But where Naruto thrives in creating large, explosive techniques, she needs something more refined, something that suits her calm, calculating nature.
She holds the senbon up to the light again, studying its thin structure, the sharp tip designed to pierce through flesh or fabric with ease. The needle itself is lightweight, almost fragile, but it carries enough force to be lethal in the right hands. What if she could heat the senbon with fire chakra, make it burn as it flies through the air? It would require careful control over both the fire and the wind to ensure that the needle doesn't disintegrate mid-flight. She needs the fire to burn, but not consume the senbon entirely.
Her brow furrows as she runs through different scenarios in her head. The thickness of the senbon is just right—too thick, and it would slow down; too thin, and it might break under the heat. She moves her hand slightly, feeling the cool metal between her fingers. Wind and fire. Two opposing forces. But they also complement each other.
Mizuki closes her eyes and tries to focus. She channels her chakra into her hand, feeling the warmth of the fire nature slowly build up inside her palm. She needs to keep it small, controlled. No wild bursts. The fire needs to be sharp, like the tip of the senbon.
"THIS SUCKS!"
A sudden shout from Naruto in the distance startles her, but she quickly regains focus. The roar of the waterfall mixes with Naruto's enthusiastic cries, a reminder of his own training. His voice is filled with determination, and despite the chaos in the background, Mizuki finds comfort in knowing that Naruto is nearby. He's always there, always pushing forward with an energy she admires but could never quite match.
