Chapter 13

I ran inside to tell Adelie the news. I had to shout to tell her over the music. She was so happy. We both jumped around, hugging.

"I knew he'd come around, baby girl"

I smiled.

"Right, they're gonna be here soon. Are you sure you don't want to come?"

She shook her head.

"This is your night. Go live it"

I hugged her and left her at the party. I shivered as walked outside into the cold after being in the boiling and stuffy party house. I wasn't wearing a coat so I literally froze outside.

I texted Louis to pick me up a few houses down the street. But he insisted on coming to me. Great. How do I explain that I went to a party that hates them? There were banners and signs and cakes that all said 'Bye Bye Boys' and 'H81D' and 'Goodbye Good Riddance' there were five dartboards with each of their faces too. Tonnes of people were throwing darts at them. There were other posters that were drawn all over in black sharpie. Just like the one I had on my cup. I really didn't want them to see this.

They came to pick me up about ten minutes later. Ten minutes of me catching hyperthermia and stressing out. Louis got out of the car and walked to me. I hugged him. We both stood there, in each others arms, in silence. I broke that.

"I'm so sorry, Louis. I swear it wasn't - "

"Sh, it's okay, Amelia"

He smiled before looking at the house behind me.

"Shall we?", he asked.

"No. No, let's not I mean I just dont want -"

He pushed past me and walked into the hate house. Smiling back at my terrified face.

He raised his eyebrows as he entered. "Well then, I see you're having a nice time" everyone stopped and stared as he said this.

"Who invited you!", someone said from the crowd

"Invite? No, no, invites are for parties. I'm not sure what this is", everyone was quiet. We both left after that. Louis said,

"So this is the party you were talking about?"

I looked down at the floor, embarassed.

"Yeah.. But it's like.. I Had to come.."

"It's okay, I just hope you don't hate me..."

He turned to stand in front of me. Smirking.

"Of course I don't" I giggled and walked to the car which the rest of the boys were in. They had their faces pressed to the glass, making stupid faces. I jumped then laughed and Louis took my hand. We smiled at each other and walked to the car.

"OOOHHH" they all chorused

"Shut up" Louis said and playfully punching Liam on his arm. Liam was sat in the passenger seat, Harry driving. Niall was in the back with Zayn as it was a seven seater. So me and Louis had the middle. I put my seat belt on and smiled. Liam and Harry turned back to look at me.

"I'm Harry", he said in the sweetest way. He smiled and I could see his dimples. My heart literally stopped. Next Liam introduced himself and smiled over at Louis who was blushing.

"You're right, she is as beautiful as you said she was", he whispered, not so quietly to Louis. Niall rested his chin on the chairs we were sat on.

"I'm Niall", he said, grinning, "Well done, Lou. She. Is. Fit"

I couldn't help but giggle as Zayn came behind my chair.

"I apologise for the guys boyish behaviour. I'm Zayn"

I giggled again, "It's fine - honestly"

I thought we were done but Louis turned to look at me. "Hi, I'm Louis and I'm in love with you", he whispered. My heart fluttered as I smiled at him.

As we arrived, I thanked Adelie in my head as this was not a dress down place. If I hadn't followed her dress up rule - I'd have died. The room was packed with people with beautiful dresses, dapper tuxedos and the highest heels I've ever seen in my life. We got table for six and as we walked to the table we caused quite a stir. As would be imagined by the five boys I had entered with.

There was paparazzi were outside when we got there and I was blinded by the continuous flashes and questions. Fans were screaming and crying. The boys were fine with it, smiling, taking pictures with fans. The lights and shouting made me feel really dizzy and claustrophobic. I felt like I was going to be sick. Although we were outside, I felt everything getting smaller. I felt it hard to breathe. I thought I was going to faint until I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was gripping and kept me steady. I turned to see it was Niall. He smiled at me, concerningly and led me inside.. I took a deep breath and smiled before following them into the beautiful restaurant. Everything was crimson red. The velvety black carpet was the only thing not following suit. There was a pianist in a red suit at a deep red piano.

"Louis, this place is insane. I - I feel so... odd", I whispered to Louis as the boys got our table. I only now realised what he was wearing. A navy blue suit with a black bow tie. It fit his body so well that I couldn't breathe for a second. He was perfect.

"Are you okay, Amelia?"

I suddenly snapped out of it.

"Yeah, sorry. I just... you look - amazing"

I felt my face go red. Great, now I matched the theme of the restaurant. He just laughed and we followed the boys to our table. It matched the scene of the restaraunt with a crimson table cloth and white seats. It was like a fairytale. Each plate had a large one with a red napkin in a shape that looked like a shell. Next to that plate was a smaller one that had the cutlery next to it. The cutlery was an art itself. Two silver knives, two forks and two spoons. Each had a pattern that looked like vines interwining up it.

We ordered starters first. The menu was full of fancy words that I didn't understand. So I got what Louis got. We all started talking about everything and nothing. We were interrupted by a few fans wanting autographs but the rest of the evening went so amazingly. I felt like I had known the boys for ages, they were so easy to talk to and not at all like Georgia said they were like. They were sweet, kind, funny, loud and cheeky. They were perfect. I smiled and we kept talking about song names and how the redness of the restaurant made your head hurt. We laughed and smiled and had our main course. The food was brought out on silver platters like they have in movies and on red trolleys. We ate and commented on the food. There wasn't much conversation other than that. It was all perfectly perfect. I sighed, taking in all that had happened through the past weeks. Suddenly, nothing mattered. Suddenly, I felt actually happy. Suddenly, I understood happiness and how amazing it is. I didn't want to go back to reality. I wanted this. I wanted...them. I couldn't help but grin and grin and grin.

"What?", Louis suddenly said to me. Seeing as I was grinning like an idiot, I couldn't blame him.

"Nothing. I just realised... That's all"

"Realised what?"

"Just... everything I guess. It's nothing, I'm just so happy. You make me happy"

Louis smiled and smiled back at him. We just smiled at each other. We didn't say anything, we didn't need to. I felt so incredible. That was until someone walked into the room.

Max Green... Max? Why was he here. Oh crap. Oh dear. Oh god. He was just that guy that everyone knew liked me. Weird. Nothing to worry about. Right? I watched him walk in. God, I hated him.

As Max walked through the door another person accompanied him. Odd. He had a girlfriend now? I knew her. Who was she? Dark brown hair... Green eyes... Oh my god. Melissa.
