On The Run

Chapter 2

The next morning me and Luis waited until breakfast and that's when we plan to take out a guard. "You got my back right Tommy?"
" Yea I got you. "
We saw a guard coming around the corner and I punched him in the face but, he got back up and reached for his baton but Luis grab it away from him and whacked him with it. He was out cold. "Nice job Tommy old boy."
" You too Luis."
We searched for the key on his body and grabbed it. After that we knew that they would notice that a key was missing and that they would start searching cells so we hid the key in the vents. I never ran so hard in my life after that. After roll call we ran for the generator and turn it off so we could cut the fence with the cutters that Luis got from a friend. We ran for it after we cut the fence. Luis also knew another guy that gave us money and clothes.We thanked him and left. I didn't know if I should keep Luis with me or not so I asked him "do you want to come with me?"
He didn't even hesitate and said "why the hell not."
We hotwired a car and started driving to my mom's house. Luis asked me "why are you living at your mom's house?"
"We don't have enough money for a dorm so I decided to just drive to the campus everyday"I replied.
" Don't you think your mom will queston who I am?"
" I'll tell her that you helped me escape."
We got there and nobody was there beside mom. It was weird so I went in without knocking and I said "Mom your here!"
She was in the kitchen and she turned around in complete anger and ran right at me. She started punching me and kicking me. I yelled "mother it's me, stop it!"
She stoped and she screamed "you did do it, you did kill your father!" "What no, I never kill him I'm being framed!"
" Then why were your finger prints on the gun then! "
"Mom you have to trust me ..."but before I said anything Luis came in and said "is everything alright?"
"Who is this Tom, your murder partner or something. "
"No mom he helped me escape."
" Did I come in at the wrong time."
" No Luis your fine."
My mom yelled "I'm calling the police!"
" Mom don't trust me."
" No Tommy you lied to me and your going back she dialed in 911."
but before she called them Luis hit her over the head with his fist. "What the hell Luis! "
"What she was going to call the cops!"
" Yea you could of grabbed the phone or something you probably put her in a coma!"
" I didn't hit her that hard. "
"Whatever Luis. "
I went upstairs and grab a towel and put it around her head and taped it. After that the phone rang and it was a unknown number. I answered and yelled "Who is this this is not a good time!"
A mysterious voice said "well mabey it is a good time to explain why you dad died. "
" Who the hell is this calling."
"Well I was going to kill your mother but your there with that gorilla so I can't come in and have fun with you two. It was pretty easy framing for you father and so I can do it again with your mother. "
I listen in anger and frustration. "What you can't say anything. Your dad was the same way when I shot him in the face. Well sorry l, I mean you did right? It says that in the paper. Yep, Tommy Lincoln kills his father with a gun! And the next headline will be you escaping with your monkey friend just to come back and kill your mother. "
I screamed "you killed my father your going to pay for that!"
" What you did that remember? And by the looks of it you killed your mother too."
"She's fine" I yelled!
" Not for long because when I get my hands on her she'll be gone before you know it. Your family will pay for what they did to me 6 years ago. "
"We did nothing to you, your going to jail. "
"No I'm not you are for breaking out and killing your father. "
"Well I got to go before you do anything crazy or mabey the cops will go crazy before they get there."
I quickly hanged up the phone and called out to Luis "we got to go now!"
" Why what's going on? "
Don't mind that just let's go the cops are on there way!"
Luis did not hesitate and ran out to the car but before we could pull out the cops had the driveway cover with police cruisers and yelled out "stop now and we won't shoot!"
Luis drove through the yard of the neighbors and broke the fence and sped off on the streets. We soon made it to the highway where there were news helicopters flying every which way. The cops weren't to far behind us. So Luis started making people move by ramming into the cars. But at the end of the highway their was a roadblock and so he turn up on to a bridge but again anthor road block. Luis screamed "were trapped!"
No we're not. Theirs part of the bridge under construction and it makes a ramp, jump it! Into the water your crazy! You want to go back to jail Luis? So Luis jumped the ramp into the river where the cops lost us.
