On The Run

Chapter 6

          I woke up a few hours later in a very dark room. I started to look around and look for Luis, he was nowhere to be found. I panicked so I started shaking and I was tied to a metal pole. I shaked a little bit but I heard a noise come from the other side of the room. It sounded like a door opening. I looked over and it was Juang, he was carrying Luis and he threw him on the ground. Juang didn't even notice me and walked away. I whispered over to Luis "Are you ok?"
He didn't answer, he was out cold I think. I looked around for something to cut the rope with and I found some scissors near my leg. I tried to slide it over with my leg, it took awhile but it worked. I began cutting the rope and when I got free I shook Luis again and said "Luis, are you ok?"
"Can you hear me?"
He again didn't reply so I dragged him across the floor and sneaked out of the building. I didn't see Juang and thank God I didn't. I dragged Luis down four blocks when Luis woke up and yelled "Ahhhh!"
I said "Calm down Luis were out of there."
He just looked at me and got up. We had no idea were we where but at least we were not dead. We stopped at a little dinner and asked them "We're are we?"
The lady said "You mean like what town right?"
We shook our heads yes and she said "Well, your in Bufflo then." I said "thank you" and left the dinner. Luis said "how the hell did we end up in this town." I said "I don't remember too much but Juang had something to do with it." Luis was confused and he rolled his eyes and said "I hate him so much." I laughed and said "your not the only one." We walked a few blocks down and found a car that was unlocked so Luis Hotwire the car and we started to drive. When we came to a stop at a stop light I felt a vibration in my pocket. I reached down and pulled out a cell phone and I answered it and put it on speaker. "Hello Tommy and Luis how did you enjoy your sleep?" It was Jaung. Luis said "you got a lot of nerve calling us." He replied back "well I wanted to make sure I wouldn't lose you guys." I was confused so I asked "what do you mean by that." He said "you will see soon enough, have a nice drive." Then he hung up the phone. We looked at each other and looked around for anything weird. There was nothing different and then out of no where a black Sudan pulled out of a parking lot and headed there way. The stop light turned green and I quickly turned left. The Sudan was trailing right behind us and the person driving rolled down the window and started shooting a gun at us. Luis scream "what the hell!" I sped up and tried to lose him at a turn and it didn't work. They kept right behind us. They pulled right next to us and started to ram the side of our car. They rammed us again and then Luis said "when they try to ram us again hit the brakes." I said "ok." When they tried to ram us I slammed down on the brakes and they flew over to the sidewalk and crashed into a building. Luis screamed "oh yea take that Jaung." I laughed and drove away. About 15 minutes later I got a call so I picked it up and put it on speaker. "When will you learn just to die already?" I said "when will you learn to stop trying to kill us." Jaung laughed and said "well you are much more trouble then I thought." He then said "I'm done with you guys coming after me, I'm coming after you." Then he hung up the phone and 5 minutes later cop cars pulled from around the corner and started following us. I sighed and stepped on the gas pedal. Luis said "wow we really got some heat on us." Up headed on the road was road blocks but it was swat trucks instead of police cars. I said "no way around we have to go through it." Luis yelled "are you crazy we can't go through!" Then I said "there's no other way around we have too." Luis closed his eyes and ducked down. We speeded up and the swat started to fire at us. They pop a tire and broke the windshield but we got through. By that time we were along a big river and Luis looked at me like he wanted me to go in the river. I said "do you want me to drive into the river?" He responded "well if we have too that's a choice." Another mile down the road was a turn but there was another road block but with police cars. We had to bust through again. Luis ducked his head again and I did the same. We hit the cars and flipped forward and hit the fence blocking off the river and we landed in the river. I blacked out for a little bit but then came to and tried to get out of the car but he seat belt was stuck. I yanked and pulled the seat belt and it wouldn't come off. I couldn't breath for long and time passed by and my life flashed before me. I freaked out and tugged one more time and then blacked out. I woke up a few minutes later with Luis right next to me in a sidewalk with police around us pointing guns at us. Luis said "put your hands up please, I don't want you to get hurt." I shook my head yes and put my hands up. I was thinking that Jaung won, We got caught. There's nothing that we can do. They had me and Luis ride in different cars. I sat there with disappointment.
