XIDEN'S POV

Sitting in my office at my penthouse that is located in Postiano staring at the chocolate cookies that was placed in a white place on my desk, the brown eyed witch face flashed in my mind. Amira Dawson.

I couldn't help but to think. Ever since I caught her in that library she's the only thing on my mind. Her dark brown hair, big brown eyes, small cute nose and pouty red lips.

Somehow she looked familiar, like I've seen her before but I couldn't place such a beauty anywhere I've been before.

I tried to stay away at first but then every time I closed my eyes, her face would flash in my mind. I had to see her, that was to only way to quench this burning desire that I had for her.

So everyday I went to the library, just to see her. I would sit close to the back but not far enough so that I wouldn't see her. I had to see her. So I went back again and again and again. She was deep in my system and she didn't even do much, she didn't had to do much.

The way that she smiled at the customers, how she handled the books or how she would scrunch up her nose when she didn't like something, how she would blush when she thought that I caught her staring at me when I was the one staring at her all along. I wasn't trying to be creepy, far from it but I just had to see her.

She intrigued me. That doesn't happen much because I know that the reason why women want me is because of my money and who I am. But she, she just looks at me like I'm normal, like I'm not a Mafia leader, like I'm not a billionaire but instead like I'm just another person who walked into the library. Like she sees me.

When Matylda started asking about her, wanting to see her pretty best friend, I jumped at the opportunity to see her. When we got there, seeing her in comfy clothes with her big brown eyes and the way that she reacted to Matylda just intrigued me more.

Was it really because of Matylda then I went over there or was I going to go because I wanted to see her again? I thought. Closing my eyes I replayed the last few minutes before I left her house.

As I was about to get in my car a soft voice stopped me. "Wait," turning around to face her I gave her the silent go ahead. "U-uhm, I don't know your name?"

A beautiful blush spread across her cheeks as she looked down and bit her lip.

Walking up to her, I titled her face up to look into my eyes. "I told you before and I don't like repeating myself. Don't look away from me." I demanded.

I watched her swallow several time before a soft okay passed through her pouty lips. In this moment all I want to do is crash her into my body and devour her, kiss her until she was boneless in my arms, only thinking about me.

I wanted to claim her.

Brushing a piece of hair from her face, I leaned in close to her ear, her feminine scent of berries invaded my senses, embedding her into my mind. "Xiden, love; my name is Xiden Luciano." I whispered in her ear.

Her breath hitched and her body stiffened. Smirking at her reaction I brushed my lips again her cheek again I pushed away from her and walked her back to her door. When she was safely inside I got in my car and drove off.

Why was she affecting me so much? I had no answer. There was just something about her; something that I didn't understand, couldn't grasped but there was also something familiar and that made me want her more.
