Dork Diaries a Valentine special

This can't be happening!

I just got into an embarrassing situation with my crush Brandon :(

It all started when I was being my usual dorky self, writing in my diary.

Then the WORST thing ever happened!

Brandon peeked into my diary and saw me drawing him!

Now I'm stuck in the bathroom for the rest of geometry class waiting for this day to be over.

Just when I thought my day couldn't get any worse it did :(

Mackenzie Hollister who BTW is the most popular girl at WDC sashayed into the room. Behind her was her BFF Jessica. "Omg did you see Brandon today?" "Yeah totally he was so HOT in that baseball cap"

How could a baseball cap be hot?! They started putting five layers of sweet punch Chapstick which I guess is apparently the new thing and started blabbing about the Valentines dance.

"Brandon is so gonna ask me!" Mackenzie squealed. That girl was out of her mind thinking Brandon would fall for a shark in sparkly nail polish and designer jeans.

Omg I completely forgot about the valentines dance, maybe Brandon would ask me!!

When the bell finally rang I raced out of the bathroom and saw Brandon talking to Mackenzie.

Just great :(

He was probably asking her to the dance because I'm such a dork.

Mackenzie glared at me and gave me the evil eye which probably means it's true

Brandon isn't asking me to the dance :(

I blinked back tears (I'm an emotional person) and raced out of the school. My mom was waiting for me outside. She looked at me confused and asked me where my backpack was

Great!

I ran back into the school to find Mackenzie whispering to Jessica and pointed to a garbage can where all the leftover meatloaf goes

Do you even know what's in that stuff?

Anyways they started looking in my direction and snickered.

"Nikki Hun I think there is something of yours with the meatloaf" she smirked and winked at Jessica

I walked over to the garbage to find my school supplies and backpack laying there like an abandoned piece of meatloaf.

Of course it was Mackenzie and Jessica who had done this.

"Oh and btw Nikki, Brandon won't be asking you to the dance!" To be honest I didn't care anymore I grabbed my meatloaf covered backpack and raced out the school as fast as my legs could carry me
