Chapter 6

MAYA’S POV

“Not again!” Phil cries out. Letting out an evil laugh I stood up and took a bow. Yes, being the weirdo I am I bowed. 

“I warned you. I am the Mario Kart ruler! Now bow down and join my evil tyranny!” I yelled, quite confidentelly. Since we arrived at Phil’s flat, I learned that he is actually very easy to talk to...and tease. 

“Never!” He yelled and started running. I start to chase after him, before I trip over the coffee table and fall on my face. Never, was I ever so clumsy! I get up and continue to chase Phil down, giggling like a maniac. I hear a door slam at the end of the hall. 

Slowly, I began to creep towards a nearby door. I rest my hand on the cool knob, after pressing my ear against the wooden door. I hear from inside a small giggle and a soft thud. 

Bursting through the door, I catch Phil, trying to slide under the bed. His feet stick out from under the bed, before he completely is under the bed. I walk around his room, pretending to look for him, just like I used to do when I played hide and seek with my little cousin Jay-Jay. Then, I head towards the door again and suddenly spin on my heel to catch Phil trying to climb out from under his bed. His head looks up at me with wide eyes. 

I smile with evil intent and then walk out of his room, leaning against the door. He’ll never get out!

“Let me out!” I hear him cry out from inside his room. His fists pound against the room, but in no succession. 

“You’ll have to owe me three favors.” I yell back. My master plan has worked! He grumbles something before trying again, but to no avail, to open the door. 

“What three favors?” He asks, sounding a little hopeless. That is why no one should ever trust me. Muahahah! Although, I soon find a little flaw in my plan. I can’t think of one favor. With time though....

“I will tell you when I need you to do them!” I say back and smile with content. 

“You are so evil! Just let me out!” He gives up. That’s not good enough. That’s not a promise. Hmmm....

“Swear on your Youtube account!” I say, thinking I am a clever beast. See? Even I know that I am evil. So he probably will know I could delete his account. Though, I know I would never do that. Although he doesn’t. 

“Fine.” He says with a sigh. “I swear on my Youtube account.” I smile and open the door. I am not ready for Phil’s revenge attack. He throws himself at me, knocking me to the ground, like a cheetah hunting for prey. 

“You clever meanie.” He spits out. I grin at him and push him off of me. Then, feeling bad, I help him to his feet. 

“I’m evil. I learn from the best though.” I state and give him an apology hug. Though I may be mean and evil, I do love hugs. He smells like ice cream. My stomach starts to growl. 

“I’m hungry.” I state and wander around his flat until I find his kitchen. It looks just like it did in Dan’s Apartment Tour video. I look through his fridge until I find a brownie. It looks delicious, covered in icing. 

“Brownie?” I offer him one. He takes one half of the brownie. It is a big brownie. I pop it into my mouth. It tastes orgasmic. Just like they said in their video when they make brownies for Halloween. 

“Dan’s going to kill us.” He said when he finished his half. 

“Why is that?” I ask him. 

“He loves his brownies.” Phil answers and with a wink, he leaves to go to the bathroom. I wander around their flat and come across their living room again. I can see Dan’s couch, which he includes in all of his videos. I smile and sit on it, realizing it’s quite comfy. 

Phil appears in the doorway soon, with a strange look in his eyes. Before I can ask about it, Phil sits next to me and grabs my hand. I blush, a big mistake. Phil winks again and then we just sit there, in an awkward silence.

Finally the door burst open and Dan and Elena walk in, breaking our very awkward silence. I have never been so happy to see my best friend.
