Yowza! Alrighty, so erm writing my story now! *Awkward pause* XOXOXO-Maya

Achoo! I let out a loud sneeze, that kinda sounds like a “Hai-ya!” as if I were a karate chopping something. I just hope I didn’t wake up Phil. I roll over on my bed and look to see Phil snoring away. It isn’t a loud snore, just a soft breath pattern.

Slowly, I creep out of bed and check the time on my alarm that lay on a desk across the room. 7:45 a.m. I growl, realizing I have an hour to get ready for work. My job is as an acting teacher.  I stumble over a pile of clothes and reach my closet. I decide to wear my orange shirt and converse.  When I reached towards my phone that lay on the bed, I saw Phil stir and his eyes fluttered open.

“Going somewhere?” He asked, with a strange undetectable tone. Blushing, I crawled back into the bed, snuggled into him and took in his smell.

“Sadly, I have to work.” I explained to him. Our faces were so close together, that if I moved in the right way, our lips would be touching. His fingers wrapped around mine and pulled me so close, I could smell his morning breath. “Breath is stinky.” I complained and stuck out my tongue. His body vibrated as he chuckled.

“Sorry hun.” He said before laying his lips on mine. After a gentle kiss, I pulled away from him and crawled out of the bed.

“I have to go soon. Might as well make some breakfast.” Winking, I stepped out of the room and went to the kitchen. I made omelets and poured each of us a cup of coffee.

“How are you such a morning person?” I asked as Phil hopped into the kitchen with as much energy as the Energizer bunny. Phil let out a laugh and came near me as I was stationed near the stove.

“Maybe it’s because you’re here.” I grimaced at his cheeziness but let on a playful smile. Phil pressed me against the counters so I couldn’t escape. I squirmed until his arms found their way around my neck. His face neared mine and our lips came in contact for the second time that morning. Warmth spread through me and I immediatly relaxed. Feeling loved is one of the best feelings in the world, and I wouldn’t do anything to change this moment. Phil’s breath this time was minty and fresh. When I heard a crack from the stove, I immediatly pushed Phil away from me and checked on the omelets.

~20 Delicious minuets later~

Slam! The door closed behind me with a loud smack, as I sprinted towards the foot walk. “I’m late, late late late!” I screeched, as my boots clacked on the concretewhile I ran in the direction of Goldwins Acting Palace. (I made that one up) Rushing through the door, I run to my classroom that has a large poster on the front with my name on it.

When I enter the room, I see my boss standing over the class, telling them a story. When her eyes flicker up to meet mine, she lets out a sigh and walks over to me with a kind smile towards the class.

Georgia, my boss is a very nice lady, but I have been late way too many times. “Now, we have talked about this before Maya, I really need you here on time. We’ll talk after your last class.” She tells me, disappointment ringing in her tone. With a sigh, I walk over to the class as she exits the room.

“Hello guys!” I let out cheerfully. Acting is my specialty as I have taken many classes and been in plays and musicals. “We’re going to start with warm ups!” I say, clapping my hands together.

My class stands up all with bright smiles on their faces. Smiling, I do some vocal warm ups and stretches with them. They all follow my instructions carefully.

~1 tiring hour later~

“Bye Miss S!” Some of the girls say while they clabber out the door, finding their parents. A younger student around the age of seven comes up to me with a box in her hands.

“Hey Charlie, what’s up?” I ask her when she tugs at my pant leg.

“I wanted to give you a present for Christmas. I never gave it to you before coz I forgot to.” She explained to me in an innocent tone. Kneeling down, I gave her a hug.

“Thanks Charlie, any present for you is worth opening right away!” I said in a cheerful tone. When she hands the box over to me, I carefully untie the ribbon and unwrap the wrapping paper. Inside are decadent chocolates each with different patterns and icings. A chocalety scent fills my nose. Charlie looks up at me with hopeful eyes. When I let my legendary smile come along she laughs and then turns to run out of the room.

“How sweet.” I mutter to myself before Georgia strolls into the room with a frown on her face. I let out a quiet sigh and then pull up a chair for her, while I sit on a stool. Fear takes me over. I love this job and have had it for a really long time.

“Obviously I’m not going to fire you.” Georgia begins, as if she can read my mind. “You are probably the best teacher here, and firing you would be absolutely absurd. However I do want you to come on time more often. If you don’t then I might just have to release you from your job. However, my friend has called me up, asking if I know anyone that might be able to perform in a movie they are making called Half of the Wall. I told them I know a certain somebody would do fine as the lead.” She finally finished. A million thoughts ran through my brain. Movie? I don’t think I’m MOVIE quality.

“Maya I need to give them your number if you are willing to participate.” Georgia spoke to me. With a deep breath I handed her over my ‘business’ card and grabbed my chocolates.

“Thank you so much Georgia.” I said and then left, chocolates in hand.

~Ten minuets later at Maya and Elena’s flat~

“Hoome!” I sang aloud, doing mental cartwheels. I skipped over to the table and put my box of chocolates there while twirling and landing myself on the couch.

“Finally!” Came a voice from the bedroom. I kicked my shoes off and skipped to my room. Phil sat there, on his computer. When I strolled in, he chuckled and hugged me.

“What’s got you so happy?” Phil asked when he released. I landed a kiss on his soft lips and then jumped on the bed.

“WellgeorgiasaidshecouldlandmeajobasaleadinamovieandIaccepted!” I got out all in one breath. Phil couldn’t understand what I was saying, which is apparent by the look on his face. “Georgia, my boss, set me up as a lead in a movie called Half of the Wall, and I accepted!” I said cheerily. Phil chuckled at my energy and engulfed me in a warm hug.

“That is so bloody fantastic.” He said just as I kissed him back.
