Chapter 32 cx

MAYA’S POINT OF VIEW 

Waking up to alarms is the worst possible way to wake up in the morning. That’s why you wake up in the afternoon next to your sound asleep boyfriend. Dan and Phil had stayed over because we all realized it was three in the morning by the time we all realized we were tired. 

The heavy burden of having to keep my best friend’s secret from Dan and Phil was hard enough, so the feeling of the secret becoming common knowledge was especially light on me. Though I wasn’t so sure about Elena. See, sometimes when dramatic events all happen around the same time she kind of becomes a lazy depressed human sock. 

Shivering at the events that are sure to happen, I glance over at my boyfriend who is now gaining consciousness. Phil fell asleep in his Adventure Time hoodie, which I absolutely adore, like the show itself. Phil eyes slowly flutter open and he squints at me through tired eyes. 

“Damn.” He groans and lets his head fall back on the pillow as he nearly slaps himself. “Forgot that my glasses and contacts are at home.” Part of me wants to feel bad for him, though part of me wants to tease him. Instead, I just refer to shutting up and I kiss his forehead. His frown immediatly turns into a sideways smile. 

“I shall lead you around.” I announce whilst looking for an outfit. I go with orange/yellow jeanie pants and a red hoodie. As I head towards the bathroom, Phil grabs my shoulder. 

“C’mere demon.” He says with an amused tone. I just send him a glare, but I head towards him expectantly. 

“What do you want satan?” I can’t help the sassiness, it just kind of has it’s moments. Phil lets out a chuckle and pulls me close. 

“Okay demon. You are spending the day with me, remember? So you better let me decide what you are wearing, as I of course know. Also I just kind of wanted to kiss you.” Before I can think about what on earth he is going to make me wear, his lips are on mine. We share a long heated kiss. He almost seems desperate for my affection which of course I give him. I wrap my arms around his neck. The feeling of kissing him gives me an adrenaline rush and soon I’m pumping with energy. When my breath dwindles, I pull away from our heated kiss and give him a wide smile. 

“That was....nice.” Is all he can say before I skip into the kitchen to make breakfast. 

~20 minutes later~

Dan and Elena are still asleep. They had stayed up late, watching movies. Phil and I had eaten cereal whilst watching one episode of Adventure Time. Then Phil and I retreated to my bedroom to decide what to wear. 

Phil hands me a great outfit. A TARDIS shirt, jeans, grey converse, a blue bandana, a backpack with a jacket and umbrella in it, and my cookie monster hat. 

“We’ll have to take Dan’s car back to my flat to get my contacts and an outfit.” He says, as he bites his lip whilst deep in thought. 

“Okay!” I agree and change into my outfit in the bathroom. I stuff the bandana in my pocket and decide to brush through my hair, even though it’s no use. Finally I tug the hat on and I’m ready to go. We prepare to leave and I write a note to Elena. 

Elena and Dan,

Phil and I are off to spend the day together. If you need anything call Maya not Phil. He won’t answer. Also there isn’t any food so if one of you *cough cough Elena* could get some groceries that would be lovely. We shall be back around nine-ish so I guess we shall see you later.

After writing the note, I took Phil’s hand and we walked to the car. I drove, since Phil can’t really see. Finally I pull up to their flat and we hurriedly get ready. Phil changes into a Muse shirt, jeans, blue converse and he straightens his hair. He also grabs some ‘secret’ supplies and stuffs them in my backpack whilst I close my eyes so I don’t see. 

Then we’re off, with Phil now able to see. What the day will bring? I have no clue, but I am eager to find out.
