~Three hours earlier~

“Then all of a sudden, I just hear this girl blurt out, “Ooh, yeah. You’re almost as groovy as Liam Dryden.” Liam says, chuckling. His girl voice is hilarious, making me laugh really loudly. This causes the group to chuckle. I see Dan re-appear out of the corner of my eye.

“How is she?” Phil asks, before I can say anything. Dan frowns but sits back down.

“Not good. I just gave her an Advil. She went to sleep.” He said. “Good,” I think in my head. With sleep she will get better. Liam seems to think about something really hard, his face his scrunched up in thought.

“Shall I go make some dinner?” Liam asks. I just now notice that it’s grown dark. My stomach growls a reply.

“Dinner sounds lovely.” Dan replies. “We’ll go pick our rooms.” Earlier that day, Liam had shown us where the available bedrooms are. We go inside, and grab our suitcases. Soon, I find myself in the attic bedroom. I stumble over to a huge bed that Elena is fast asleep in.

Gently, I set my suitcase down and find myself in the nearest bathroom, taking a shower. Then, I change into orange and blue pajama pants and a red hoodie. I pull on a pair of TARDIS slippers and head downstairs. I sit at on the kitchen counter, watching Liam make spaghetti.

When he shoots me a funny look, I just smile. “What? I like to get comfy.” Plus, his house was cold. He smiles and mixes some tuna into the red sauce. I hear a thudding noise and look to see Dan coming down the stairs, Phil trailing behind.

“Mm, smells tasty.” Phil says and walks over to the sauce, following his nose. Giggling, I watch as Phil carefully makes his way around Liam and comes face-to-sauce with the delicious smelling paste.

“Phil!” I yell and attack him with a hug. Bewildered but glad, Phil hugs me back. “I’m cold.” I complain to him, not pulling away. His chest vibrates when he chuckles. Then, as soon as Liam stops stirring and rests against a fridge, I attack him with a hug. Then I whispered in his ear. “You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting to hug you.” Before he can respond, I pull away and tackle Dan to the ground with a bear hug.

“Careful there young grasshopper.” Dan says in-between wheezes. I get off of him and help him to the ground. Then once his feet are on the ground, I hug him again.

“Dinner!” Liam calls, and I eagerly pull away from Dan and run to get a plate. I’m first in line. Liam serves me a small amount. I raise an eyebrow at him until he gives me more. Then, I help myself to some red sauce and toast.

~1 hour later~

“Oh wow! Dinner was delicious! Thanks so much Liam!” I say when I finish my plate.

“Yeah.” Dan and Phil say, both looking tired. “Kinda feeling the jet lag.” Dan says and rubs his stomach.

When everyone’s finished, I help Liam wash the dishes. The man cracks me up. One time, I almost drop a plate. His brown eyes watch me with amusement. When we’re finished, I take his glasses and put them on.

“Hey look! I wear glasses and I’m a nerd!” I say, mocking him from his ‘Broke My Glasses’ video. He laughs and takes them back.

“Youre insane.” He says. I chuckle and then join Dan and Phil on the porch. When Liam sits down, Phil looks at him, along with Dan with seriousness in their eyes.

“Hey um, Liam man, we have to talk about something serious.” Phil says. I can see a glint of sadness in his eyes. Liam nods, and leaves. I feel bad, but can’t help but wonder what the boys are talking about.

“What’s so serious, Liam has to leave?” I ask, looking at the boys with curiosity. Phil giggles all of a sudden, followed by Dan chuckling.

“Even you fell for that? Must’ve been Phil’s puppy eyes.” Dan says. I raise an eyebrow and cross my arms.

“What on earth are you talking about?” I demand. Those two were being so annoying! Dan’s smile faded slightly and Phil went back to his usual kind face.

“Tomorrow is Liam’s birthday. We want to do something for him.” Dan explains. Finally I understand why they made Liam leave.

“Okay. So what do you have in mind?” I ask him. Dan shrugs and Phil thinks about it. I turn around when I hear something. I see Liam and a bedraggled Elena coming.

“Later.” I say and then smile when they enter the patio. She sits down and smiles for all of us.

~20 minuets later~

“No, not up to it.” I said when Liam suggested watching a movie. “Too tired.” I explain and start to head upstairs. Liam Dan and Elena decide to watch Lion King, while I go upstairs and sleep.

Before I can even close my eyes, my door opens and Phil stumbles in. He looks tired and worn out.

“Phil?” I ask. His eyes are red and he looks ready to collapse. “You okay?” He nods slightly but then trips and falls onto the bed. I don’t know what happened to him, but I help him up.

“Just clumsy and tired. Not a good mix.” Phil explains. I smile and hug him. What I don’t expect is a groan. I look up at Phil who clearly has become sad over something.

“Phil please expla-” Before I can continue, Phil comes near me, until his nose is almost touching mine, and he presses his lips against mine. This was just unexpected. His lips are smooth, and work against mine easily. I pull away and gasp for air, as if I were under water for too long.

“You are the most beautiful girl I know.” He tries, but I am bewildered. His eyes look downcast and grow with gloom. I reach out to him, but he steps away from me, just out of my reach. He then leaves and almost slams the door behind him. What has gotten into him? One thing I don’t expect to happen, happens. I find it hard to breathe, but I try anyway and go to sleep.
