My Mate Was My Bully

Chapter 12

James's POV.

"It's some sort of prophecy" she said.

"It looks like its been ripped out of a book" I said pointing to the one ripped edge.

"Yeah it does" she said examining it.

"What's the prophecy?" I asked.

"It says..."

"It says a Virgo will meet a Taurus, the Virgo will hold great power with in. The relationship will be rocky but when they think it's smoothing out, war will inflict after-" she said trailing off.

"After what?" I asked.

"I don't know, that's where it rips I can't see the rest of it" she said.

"Why was it sent to me though?" She asked confused.

"I'm not sure, maybe we should try and find the book this is from maybe it will have the rest of the prophecy in it" I suggested.

"How are we going to do that? It's going to take forever to search through hundreds of books" she said running a hand through her hair.

"Let me see" I say.

She gives me the piece of paper, the paper is browning from old age.

"Hey what's that" she said pointing at something scribbled in blue.

"It says The Princess of Destruction" I said reading the untidy scribble.

"I've heard that before, where have I heard that before" I said.

I was snapped out of my train of thought when she started sneezing.

"Okay we'll think of it tomorrow when you're better, you need some rest" I said kissing her on her head. I then walked out and while deciding what I could make for us for breakfast. And that's when it dawned on me. I just kissed her on the head!

Kira's POV.

"Okay we'll think of it tomorrow when you're better, you need some rest" he said laying a gentle kiss on my head. He then casually walked out of the room. I'm to shocked to move.

It's not really a big deal, it was a small kiss on the head but still!

I lay in bed looking up at the ceiling.

Trying to get my mind off of what just happened, I started thinking about that bit of a prophecy that I was sent.

Why could it have been sent to me? Is it about me? I am a Virgo...but I'm nothing special. I have no talents and I don't have great power with in, so it can't be about me. I'm just average.

My train of thought was interrupted when my door opened.

"Okay, so I went out and got you meds and I made breakfast" James said holding a brown paper bag and a tray with bacon, eggs and toast on two plates.

"Oh thanks" I said as he put the tray in front of me.

"Hold on I'll get the coffee quickly" he said rushing out of the room.

He then quickly came back holding two mugs in one hand and a glass of water in the other.

"You have to eat before you take the meds" he says put the mug next to me on the side table.

"Okay" I said giving him a feeble smile.

"Eat up before it gets cold" he says putting a plate in my hands with a knife and fork.

"Thank you" I said and started to eat.

Once we had both finished eating he took out the brown bag and threw the contents out in front of me.

"You need to take 10 of these tablets and 20 spoons of this" he said showing me. This may sound like an overdose, but werewolves need to take a bigger dosage than humans. (AN. Y'all are probably thinking 'how come in the 5th chapter she only took one' they were specific tablets for werewolves 😉 )

"I hate tablets" I grumbled.

"Well you have to take them, why don't you take them first then the syrup" he suggested. He poured out the 10 tablets into his hand and gave them to me.

I threw them into my mouth one at a time. When I was finished he took the medicine bottle out of the box and opened it. He then very carefully poured the medicine into the spoon and put it in my mouth. The syrup tasted like cherries.

One after the other he poured it into the small plastic medicine spoon. When I had swallowed all the medicine I started to feel drowsy.

"You must sleep now" he said grabbing all the plates. With a small nod I laid back down and slowly drifted off into the dark abyss known as sleep.

Hey y'all
So when I was writing this chapter and had to go back and see which chapter was the one where she took pain relievers I realized I use to say part whatever and now I say chapter whatever 😂.
