*bonus chapter 1*

James' POV.

I sigh as I close the door, wanting peace and quiet after a hectic day at work.

"Bastion you flipping asshole, get off!" I heard Kira shouting, panic instantly coursed over me.

Quickly I run towards the living room, hoping and preying that she's okay and I'm not to late. I open the door only to find her perfectly fine, sat with her legs crossed on the couch in a pair of shorts and a hoodie, a PlayStation 4 controller held tightly in her hands and a headset covering her ears.

"Kill the flipping Bastion please! Who the hell plays bastion in this game mode? It's such an asshole move" Kira said with a growl of annoyance to, what I can only assume, a mic attached to the headset.

Finally I glance over to the tv, only to see she is playing a video game.

This is what I panicked for? I asked my wolf with a sigh.

Ha you thought something was wrong, mate games, this is good we can bond Axel said in a chipper voice.

"Oh hey, hope you don't mind I set up your PlayStation, man I haven't gamed, properly, in years" she said with a nostalgic look on her face, that is until she re spawned and a determined look took over.

"No, that's not a problem at all, what are you playing?" I asked.

"Overwatch (AN. I dont own Overwatch, Blizzard does)" she replied nonchalantly.

"Oh, yeah, I've only played a bit of it" I said watching as she zipped around the map.

"Yeah, it's James" Kira replied to the person she was gaming with.

"Who are you chatting with?" I asked curiously.

"Tyler" she said as she bit her lip in concentration.

"No, you idiot, I'm not calling you, James asked who I'm talking to...yeah" she said with an eye roll, causing me to chuckle at the siblings.

"Okay, yeah" she said as she disconnected her headset, Tyler's voice rang through out the house.

"Got my ult" he said, furious button clicks were heard in the background.

"Pulse bomb, ready to miss" Kira replied in a fake chipper voice.

"What like your love life?" Tyler asked.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever, at least I actually have a boyfriend, unlike you, who is single af" she said sassily, causing me to laugh at the siblings banter.

A chorus of 'awwws' and 'damns' were heard from the other people in the match with mics on.

"Yeah sorry guys, sorta taken" she said with a chuckle, making me smile. Of course she couldn't say mate but just the fact she was happily calling me her boyfriend was enough for me. Though of course being mates was of a higher status than boyfriend and girlfriend.

"Yes!" She exclaimed in excitement.

"I managed to stick my pulse bomb on that damned bastion, hopefully we'll be able to secure the objective before they come back" she said, her button mashing became more furious as she zipped around shooting people whilst staying on objective B.

"Let's try not to get an overtime yeah? This match has gone on for to long" Tyler said grumbling the last bit in annoyance.

"What did you expect from a game mode called Total Mayhem?" Kira asked with a chuckle.

"Ah shit, shit, shit, shit" she repeated.

"Widow up top, watch yourselves" she said as she attempted to kill the sniper, who had the vantage point.

"Almost there" a random guy said.

"Oh no, they're becoming desperate" she said zipping around so fast there wasn't enough time to register anything that was happening, as the enemies crowded around them.

"Anyone still got their ult? I'm getting kinda nauseous playing like this" she said as she leant sideways as if avoiding the bullets in real life.

"Yes, I do! Do they have any tanks?" Tyler asked.

"Don't think so" Kira said.

"Awesome, team kill here I come!" Tyler said, his character, Reaper, quickly made his way towards Kira's character, Tracer.

"Help! Why am I the only one contesting here?" She asked. Her face contorted into a look of absolute determination.

"Great timing" she said, her face lighting up as her ult meter filled. Quickly she threw her pulse bomb into the middle of the group, who in all the chaos of Tracer surrounding them, didn't have enough time to escape.

"Team kill" a voice said much to Kira's delight.

Just before they could all respawn the objective was Kira's and her team had won.

"Yes!" Kira cheered as she got player of the game for that last team kill.

"Oi! You stole my team kill" Tyler said with a groan.

"You took to long" she said throwing her head back to rest on the back of the couch.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever" Tyler said annoyed, only causing Kira to giggle at her brothers misfortune.

"James you wanna go? I'm gonna take a break I feel dizzy and nauseous" she said quickly turning my way.

"Uh...sure" I said nervously, how could I beat the way she just played, but she grinned playfully at me, how could I refuse.

"Kay, Tyler, James is gonna take over, while I take a break" she said standing up and stretching slightly.

"Sure thing" Tyler said.

Hey y'all
So this is just a filler chapter I thought of a while ago but it really wouldn't fit anywhere in the story also I decided it would be boring for those of you who don't game, so I made it into a bonus chapter, there might be a few as it does sorta take me a while to think of ideas for actual chapters, hope y'all don't mind.
Also sorry if none of you understand what the hell is happening in this chapter, you don't really have to read these chapters if you want 🤷‍♀️ also this chapter is way longer than I expected to be (at least 300 words turns out there are a 1000 words in this chapter, oops 😅)
