Disclaimer: Alpha Brody is actually a person of the female population 😂 I just wanted to clear that up as some of you were confused. I do know that in most werewolf books there usual aren't any female alphas but in mine they are. Also the fact that Brody is a boys/unisex name but I like it as a girls name as well so 🤷‍♀️

Kira's POV.

With a sigh I gently laid my head on Brody's shoulder. After our little chat I've been thinking a lot about it.

Should I tell him? It's only fair he knows this other side of me, but then also I'd never be able to talk to anyone besides him. Would he get mad? Would he still accept me? If not would he just completely reject me as his mate?

These sort of questions consumed my mind and made me anxious and frustrated thinking about all these things.

With a sigh I felt my eyes slowly start to droop, peaceful silence engulfing my body.

James' POV.
A few minutes earlier

The door closed behind them leaving me in a confused state.

Why was Kira acting so nervous? And they can't be ex best friends can they? They seemed to be so happy to see each other, that they don't seem like they've ever fought with each other at all.

With a sigh I moved the curtains, hanging over the windows, to the side to catch a glimpse of Kira dragging alpha Brody further away, probably making sure I won't be able to hear their conversation.

Kira was definitely hiding something from me, I could feel it.

I watched as they had a slightly heated conversation until they started to turn back.

I walked back and started to set up the tv so we could watch some Attack on Titan before they returned, and with great timing to. As I sat down and got comfortable they walked through the front door, Kira looked deep in thought while Brody had a small ghost of a smile on her face.

"Great you're back, I wanted to ask if you wanted popcorn?" I asked.

"Kira?" I asked when she didn't reply.

"Oh...uh...yeah" she said giving me a slight nod. I quickly stood and strolled to the kitchen, I put a bag of microwave popcorn in the microwave after reading the instructions and put in the amount of time they recommended. After awhile of waiting the popcorn began to pop.

"What are we watching?" Brody's voice rang from the lounge.

"Uh...Attack on Titan" Kira replied sounding somewhat lost.

"Oh! I've been planning to watch this but haven't had a chance to" Brody said.

"Really! We can start from the beginning! You must watch it" Kira said her usual self returning quickly.

"If you don't mind" Brody said.

"Not at all" I said from the kitchen as I took out a bowl and poured the contents from the bag into the bowl. I swiftly pick it up and walked in to the lounge, only to find Brody sitting at one  end of the couch and Kira sitting in the middle.

"I'll hold the popcorn!" Kira said with a giggle reaching her hands out.

"Of course you will, you just wanna eat all of the popcorn" Brody said with a chuckle and nudged Kira.
