-Cyborg POV-
Hearing that one of your closest friends is pregnant should be one of the best things to hear, but for us, in this world. It's not.
Each of us had witnessed Starfire kill some of her closest friends, how she tortured them with her words before they died.
She killed superman, supergirl and superboy like it was the easiest thing in the world to do. She used her powers and machine I created for her to manipulate her starbolts to mimic radiation of the red sun to kill them.
I remember that day, it was her first attack against earth and it's heros.

Its been a week since he's been gone and Starfire has been locked away in their room. At first she denied it. It took her a couple days to let it sink in. So now, her schedule has been sleeping and crying. She rarely eats although I push her towards it.
"Victor?" Starfires shy tired voice came from my doorway. When I turned around she wore her pink pajamas, the ones Dicked loved. She even wore the small pink bow in her hair.
Her long pink loose green striped pajama pants shuffled with her as she slowly made her way into my room.
I gave her a slight smile and gestured her towards me. I leaned back in my chair as she stood in front of me, she wasn't looking at me with her sad emerald eyes, she held her hands together, fiddling with her fingers.
"What's up Star?" My small smile still on my face.
"I need you to make me a machine."
I arched my eyebrow. "Why Star?"
She looked at me with desperation. "To make me more powerful. My starbolts...I'm too weak Victor." She looked away.
I shook my head and held her hands in my own as I leaned forward, resting my elbows on my knees. We locked eyes again.
"Starfire that's not true, you're one of the most powerful people I-"
"Victor. Please? I need this, for a boost, I feel so weak. I can't go on. I need to feel strong again."
I squeezed her hands and nodded. "I understand Starfire. I'll make it for you."
She smiled gratefully, a very small smile. "Thank you Victor." She walked out. "Anytime Star."
I got to work. It's all I worked on, so maybe that's why I got it done within a couple days. The machine was designed to enhance Starfires emotions so she could fight with us and hopefully mourn with us in the process.
The device was shaped like a laurel. It was shaped like the crowns the Roman Empire wore. It was designed to connect with her emotions, which are linked to her powers, to enhance them.
When I gave Starfire the laurel she looked at its and tried it on wrong. I chuckled at her confusion and placed on her the right way.
"There Star, just for you."
She nodded once and walked back to her room.
Hours later she came out dressed in her costume and had the laurel on her head.
She said she was going to test the device and the rest of us nodded. It was only Beastboy and I actually, Raven spent all of her time in her room. We all thought she was going to the junkyard to beat up a couple trash cans and cars, we didn't know her true purpose.
