"Starfire...I..."

I didn't have anything to say. What could I say? The only thing I did was stare at her, that's all I can do.

She picked up her hand off my head but barley, then out it down again and moved it downward, then up again then down. She was petting me, but not in an animal way, it was like she was caring for me, like she did care.

"Raven...you're pregnant. This is..."

"Starfire?" I stood up straight, looking at her confused. She smiled.

"Oh Raven! This is glorious!" She hugged me. My eyes widened in shock, I began to tremble. "Raven? Don't be afraid old friend. I'm here to help you! Pregnancy is very special and I intend to keep the baby."

I unwrapped myself from her hug. "What?! No! What!" My eyes widened. "Starfire- I'm sorry." I bowed. "Please explain further."

She tapped my head. "Raven, I want the baby. You will see them everyday and they will know whom it's parents are but the child will be mine. Understand? The living thing inside you, that belongs to me."

"Yes Starfire. Of course."

"Are you even going to fight?"

"No Starfire."

Instead of hitting me, instead of calling me names, she stroked her hand though my hair, then pulled me into a hug.

"Raven, I know I've been the worse person alive but pregnancy, it's very special and I want you and Beastboy to be happy and not live in fear."

"Starfire...what..." I was still in shock, she cradled me, rocking me.

"You were there for me during my pregnancy, I'm here for you."

"Starfire this is..." New. Surprising. Shocking. Unbelievable.

She stood up and let me sit down on the bed.

"First thing first, you will begin to eat more healthy foods. You and Beastboy are free to see eachother, no more sneaking around. You will also stop your place at work, you can still heal but no more building."

I bowed my head. "Yes Starfire."

"I will tell Beastboy. But for right now Raven, I want you to go to sleep, I'll bring some tea later."

"Yes Starfire."

She nodded and left.

What are your true motives? I questioned as I crawled into bed. I fell asleep although I didn't want to.

-BeastboysPOV-

Nightstar flew above me, going all sorts of directions. We were playing cat and mouse, she was the mouse that could fly while I was the green old cat, slowly jumping at her but really getting no where.

I transformed into a lion and tackled her. She laughed as we landed on her floor. I covered her with slobber with my kisses.

"Ewwww." She giggled delightfully, pushing my face with her hands.

I purred and laid all my weight on her.

"Uggh B-Beastboy- get- get off of meeeeee." She stuck out her tongue.

"What's the magic word?" I sang.

"Unncle! Uncle!" She shouted out of breath.

I stood up and Starfire walked in, I jumped back and Nighstar stared at her mother.
