-RavensPOV-
His eyes were closed, his lips were parted, a little snore here and there. It was cute. His face buried into the pillow, one of his hands near my face, the other hanging off the bed. His skin a beautiful shade of green in my room, our only light was a single candle that burned in the center of the table in my kitchen.
Garfield. My handsome Husband. My green changeling. My Beastboy.
Lightly, my index finger traced his hand. He moved a little, rubbing the same hand against my bed. A faint smile grew. I couldn't help it, he's just so beautiful. So amazing. So peaceful.
"Never leave me." He whispered, which startled me. His eyes were half open but his stare at me so serious, it gave me chills.
"Never." I touched his cheek lightly, getting a bit worried. "Why would I?"
He brought his hand to mine and held it gently. "Because..." His eyes filled with tears. "...I'm not strong enough to save you or the baby. I'm so weak Raven. If Starfire were to do something then I-"
"Stop." I begged him, my own eyes filled with tears. "Stop. You're not weak. What on Azarath brought this up?"
He sniffed and cuddled me closer. "Bad dream." He admitted while holding me tighter, his chin on my head. "A horrible dream." His voice cracked and he began to cry. My arms wrapped around him as I tried to relax in his arms.
"No-No Garfield. No. None of it was real, everything's okay."
-CyborgPOV-
I laughed watching Victoria . "Ah yeah, work it girl, work it!"
She laughed, covered her mouth, and glanced at me then back to the TV. "I've never seen someone so excited to fix an old TV."
"It's pretty much done, it just has to turn on. How 'bout it pretty lady? Do the honor?" I bowed and gestured to the TV, smiling widely. She laughed her adorable "whatever" laugh and flipped it on.
The screen was black. Was it working? We spent weeks on this thing! How could it not be working!? Victoria and I bonded over this hunk of junk. I found her in the ruins, the junk yard of the city, 300ft below the surface, she was already trying to pick it up and take it with her. I offered my help. This is how the TV ended up in my closet in my room.
This Starfires fault! We didn't have the right parts. She stripped everything away. It's her fault we can't fix it! Is her fault I'm going to have to look into Victorias disappointed eyes when I turn my head. It's all Starfires fault! Everything!
Victoria touched my arm softly, bringing me away from my thoughts, she was about to speak and I was about to turn my head but the heavenly sound of the TVs electric system kicked in, making the bomb dropping noise. A single light clicked in the center of the TV.
Our eyes widen as the screen went to static. My fist, which had been tightening from stress, relaxed. I looked at her and smiled, the white, gray, and black heartbeats from the TV reflected into her eyes. She was still in shock.
When she looked at me I could've kissed her then and there, I wouldn't care if Starfire or anyone walked in on us, her smile, her eyes, full of newfound happiness and excitement. Like a kid who found out she was getting ice cream, or being accepted into a team, she was beautiful. Her hand squeezed my arm while we looked into each other's eyes.
"Victor-!" She spoke in a higher tone, almost like she was about to cry, her eyes were watering.
"We did it. It works." I said smiling, we hugged tightly, it was our first hug. We'd always hand shake, high five, fist pump, whatever, this was our first hug. I lifted her into the air and spun her around, we laughed. "BOOYAH!" I shouted but not too loud.
I set her down and we both shared our eyes on eachother and on the TV, glancing back and fourth quickly. Our excitement could be compared to having a child in a normal world, one where we didn't fear but loved.
"Okay, I have western,-" I began counting off my fingers. "-ninjas, robots, giant lizards, lion king, and the hand that rocks the cradle. Which one you wanna watch?"
"Everything!" She drowned into my arms. That night we cuddled up on the old green Teen Titans couch, well the part that was left, and watched all the movies. Every now and then I would glance over to her only to her wiping away happy tears. Or sad ones, depending on what movie we watched. Lion king sucked, I couldn't even keep a straight face. When daddy lion died my one eye shed some tears.
We fell asleep on the last movie the credits came up and we passed out. She laid on top of me drooling onto my circuits, I held onto her though, the blanket over us. The best day of sleep i've ever gotten.
