The armies of aircraft were all past the beach now. They flew over the vast expanse of green fields dotted with enemy barracks, hangars, artillery, and ground troops. They had made it overland, but the fight was far from over. Many helicopters were being shot down, forcing a large number of soldiers on all sides to push forward on foot. A good number of gunships were still intact, but were fewer in number to begin with. It wouldn't be long before the majority of the fight would be on the ground.

Fragnile was leading the Anarchy gunships in continuous strafing runs across the Alliance's front. They were more vulnerable to artillery lower to the ground, but it was worth the risk—multitudes of Alliance ground troops were keeping the opposing forces from pushing past the hill.

"How are we on ammo?" Fragnile asked.

"We've got a thousand rounds left," Ursynz replied grimly. "We've still got eleven missiles."

"Bloody icicle," Fragnile growled. "We blew through it way too quickly."

"Remember the priority? We're supposed to be keeping Dreemo alive above all else, so let's find him and make sure the rest of our shots don't go to waste."

Fragnile agreed with Ursynz's plan. He spoke into the headset, "Dreemo, you copy?"

"Yeah," Dreemo replied; he sounded grave.

"Where are you guys? You still in the air?"

"No, we got shot down. Drake and I are making our way up the hill. Camo's gone."

Fragnile sighed at this new, devastating news. "You want us to pick you up? If not, we're going to try to cover you guys as best we can."

"Better we stay on the ground, so we're a smaller target."

"Copy that; we're on our way."

Dreemo and Drake ascended the hill silently. "We're gonna pay them back for it," Dreemo told his uncle.

"No number of Martial Alliance soldiers can make up for one Camo," Drake growled.

Dreemo stopped and looked his uncle in the eyes. "Either way, we're gonna make them pay. You with me?"

Drake was still scowling, but nodded and said, "Of course I am."

Dreemo looked up and saw Fragnile's gunship hovering above them. "Then let's move."

Chimera ZE landed on his feet from a fall of fifty feet and reloaded both of his arms. He wasn't about to run out of ammo again.

The Captain took in his surroundings. He had landed at the top of the hill. A platoon of Alliance troops were nearby, but were busy engaging Brazen's and Anarchy's soldiers. Chimera ZE looked down the hill and saw more Anarchy soldiers scrambling up. He grinned as his guns spooled up.

Dreemo and Drake dove out of the way as Chimera fired at them. "Don't run!" Chimera shouted at them angrily. "Man up and fight!"

Dreemo fired a few shots at Chimera to keep him at bay, but told Fragnile through his transceiver, "We can't afford to let him hold us up!"

"Leave him to us," Fragnile replied.

"You want me to use a missile?" Ursynz asked.

"Yeah, but don't miss," Fragnile replied grimly. Their ammo supply was still dropping more than he would have liked.

Chimera ZE's eyes widened in shock as the missile rocketed toward him. He instinctively shielded his face, but that didn't keep the missile from feeling like someone had whacked him with a giant hammer. He was launched through the air faster than he had ever been before and crashed into the ground so hard it left a crater in the shape of his body.
