Introduction Pt. 1. ( Sort Of )

Chapter 1: It was just like yesterday.

Olivia's Pov

My name is Olivia Antares and I'm a demigod. I know it's hard to believe, been there, done that, etcetera, etcetera, well if you make it simpler, my dad (whoever he is) is a Greek god, sounds crazy, doesn't it? But well it's simply the truth. My mom told me five and a half years ago, she gave this sapphire necklace and said it was from my dad. She said It was supposed to be magic or something cool but how is that supposed to help me? I don't even know how to activate it. I had to figure it out sometime since two weeks later, chaos started.

Everything went downhill for well, everybody. Food shortage, water poisoning and even random natural disasters once in a while. And that was five years ago, now, towns and cities don't even look the way I remember it. Buildings smoking, some broken down or demolished, sometimes cars that ran into poles or stores sometime before and the occasional dead guy on the street. Ugh makes me sick. It's that bad, but it's still nothing unusual I guess. I've gotten used to the scenery.

I don't what kept me alive, maybe it's my survival skills I learned from Discovery Channel, or maybe its how I handle the weird glowing sword I found in a bunch of rubble. Call me crazy, but well I fight weird mythical monsters and once in a while zombies, not like the ones in movies that walk like what? 2 miles per hour or something but like about at least 30 mph. Yep, just another day in a deserted town.
